Challenges

Good afternoon ladies and I hope the sun is shinning where you are and you are busy creating, I was going to post this card this morning but decided to go shopping with my friend down the souk as I needed some retail therapy and my friend needed to get some presents to take home.

I just had to indulge in some shopping (as you do) and bought some roses for my card making and a few other things as the sales were on, love a sale, I was very extravagant and bought a new pair of specks and when I saw Versace in the sale I thought oh darn it I just have to have those so bang has gone my new Timmy distressing inks, stamps and MS punches I was saving for but I love my new specks and at 50% off you just can not say no and I didn’t lol plus it made me feel a whole lot better.

On to my card I created this for Simon Says Stamp Challenge on Paper Craft Planet and this time it is a colour challenge of dark brown, vanilla (cream), and teal. I not exactley happy with my distressing round the edges as it came out a bit smudged and then I dropped the ink pad on my rose after I had finished the card, ah well.

The other challenge I have entered into are:

Craft Catz – Fancy edge and Ribbon

Cute Card Thursday - Ribbon Tastic

A Spoon Full of Sugar – Distressing Inks or Pearls or Glitter

Recipe
Image – Tilda
Papers – Bo Bunny / K and Co
Pearls - Hobby House
Bling – Kaban
Ink – Tim Holtz and Memento
Roses and Pins – Souk
Punch – MS
Ribbon – Bo Bunny
Leafs 0 Boss Kutz
Shine – Glimmer Mist
Glaze – Shakura Pen
Medium - Copic

Thank you for popping by my place and I do appriciate your comments and I shall be round your blogs later to see what you have been creating.

Prairie Fairy Friday

Good Morning to all, its been a very forgetful week this week for me first I forgot to post my DT card for Cute Daisy May then I did the Simon Says Blog Hop, did my card for the challenge and then forgot to add it to their Mr Linky ahh well.

It’s also been hubby’s cemo week probably why I have been so forgetful as I have other things on my mind, this treatment make him very tired so while he sleeps I get a bit of crafting in.

I hope you are all ready to get creative as it’s time for Prairie Fairy Friday again, thank you to all who entered last week, we loved looking at your creations and wow was their some stunners out there. This week the theme is the beautiful Olympic colours, which inspired Roberta with the mountains on the banners, so she chose to do a colour challenge this week with these colours.

I used the image called In the Garden, which you can find here and this image is perfect for a Mothers Day card, so my mom will be getting two cards this year and used the sketch from Papertake which I loved using and shall be using this one again.

The flowers, butterfly and the blue flower center are from Siri over at One Dog Loads of Crafts, she has one beautiful blog and some stunning creations, thank you Siri, I chose the grey flowers and coloured them with inks to get the colour blue I wanted.

I have just noticed that the inside is a bit wonky, bit like me really :-) oh well never mind I will have to change it later.

The rest of the recipe for this card are:

Coloured with Copic
Sentiments – Computer
Inks – Colour Box
Ribbon – Bo Bunny
Leafs – BossKut
Corners – EK Punch
Glimmer Mist – Diamond

I have entered it into the following challenges:

Spoon full of Sugar - Distressing inks

Secret Crafter -Mothers Day

Digital Tuesday - A card for MOM

I look forward to seeing your creations using this colour combination and thank you for popping by my place I really look forward to your visits and I shall be round to see you all later.

Simon Says Stamp Blog Hop

Hi Ladies and I hope your all having a good day.

There’s a blog hop going on over at Simon Says Stamps which I nearly forgot about, I have had so much going on, that it slipped my mind, so off I went to check to see if I was still in time and whoo I am, I do like a hop :-)

The requirements for your creation are:

If you have any Stampabilities stamps they would love to see them on your creation if not you can use this recipe

3 TYPES OF EMBELLISHMENTS
2 PATTERNED PAPERS you can also use coordinating cardstock :-)
1 IMAGE

Unfortunately I do not have any of these stamps, but would love to own some, as they are simple gorgeous, I used the recipe and came up with this.

The flower looks orange but I can assure you it is pink and no matter how many times I took the picture it still came out orange so I gave up in the end.

The sentiment on the inside is computer generated.

Thank you for popping by my place today, I really appreciated your visits and your comments mean a lot to me. I am going hopping now and I shall be round to visit you too.

Prairie Fairy Friday Day and some new images from Roberta

Good Morning ladies,
I hope you are all ready to get creative this morning as it’s time for Prairie Fairy Friday again, thank you to all who entered last week, we loved looking at your creations and wow was their some stunners out there.

This week the theme is Brads and Buttons and today I have two new images of Roberta’s to show you, which make up my card.
The first image is the teapot and cup called Tea Time and the second are the flowers, which are called Sketchy Blooms, and you can find both these beautiful images at Prairie Fairy Digital Stamps

I coloured both of the images with watercolours, the flowers were glittered with a Sakura pen round the edges and the dots then glossy accents were added to leafs and flowers on both images to finish off.

I used the sketch from the recipe from Die Cut Dreams Challenge which is, three pattered papers which are from Bo Bunny, two different ribbons from my stash, Two flowers, yes I know I have three so I hope that does not go against me but it did not look right with two, you have the option to use gems as well if you like, this recipe fitted perfect for my card this week.

I kept the inside plain at the moment, as I want to add some special things as it’s for my mom.

I also entered it into the following challenges:

Pink Elephant - Ribbon

Cute Card Thursaday - Something Metal etc Brads Charms etc.

Spoon Full of Sugar - Spring

I look forward to seeing your creations and thank you for popping by my place I really look forward to your visits and I shall be round to see you all later.
