Bugaboo Image

Hi All
Busy days in my craft room again as I decided to have a sort out and the only thing I have left to do is catalogue my stamps, but that will take me ages as I have not done the last lot lol also some things to go on the wall, I did ask hubby but that was ages ago, a gentle reminder me thinks. I did have time to put some cards together, so here is one of them.

A Bugaboo card with a lovely character on it, I made this for my friend in the UK who helped me so much when Brian was first diagnosed with cancer and still does every day, the best friend anyone could have.

I so love this image, I coloured it with Pro Markers, the check paper is Basic Grey and the pink spotty is from Bo Bunny and inking the edges with tattered rose distressing ink.  I used flowers, butterfly, lace and pearls to finish, the swirl was done on Cricut and that’s it.

I have entered the following challenges

ABC – Roses

Pro Markers – Bugs mine a butterfly

Crop Stop – Lace

All Sorts -Special Lady

Stamptacular Sunday – No Kids Allowed

Thanks for popping by my place, I really appreciate your comments and love to see you.

Surprise

Hi all I had a nice surprise yesterday Linnie asked me to join her on her new challenge blog called Whoopsi Daisy using her fab images and I was delighted as I used to design for her before I had to go away, I had to give up all my design team post’s as I could not give the commitment I would have liked to do when I went away.

The bad news is I have to go away again at the end of this month as Brian’s cemo will be due and his scans, plus our son is getting married in September so I will not be back until the beginning October, I will be joining Whoopsi Daisy then and I am so looking forward to working with the super DT girls again, just to let you know the challenge over there is Blue and Green this month.

So onto my card, this one is for a friend of mine who has been a great support to me through Brian’s cancer and I wanted to make her something special, I have entered it into a few challenges.

Friends

Hi my fellow blog friends I hope your all creating like mad and your juices are flowing, well I got time to craft this morning after all is done and dusted in the house.

Aa friend ask me to do a card in the same papers and colours of my last one, for her daughter so here it is.

The papers are from Bo Bunny, which I sanded and matted the background ones, then layered up the panels. I coloured the Sarah Kay image with copic and gelled the flowers to make them shine (not showing on this pic again).
The flowers and brads are Bo Bunny with added spacers, oh the green flower is from a nestability flower range die and the leafs are BossKut die, gelled to make them shine (not showing on this pic again), lastly the gems are from Kaban.

I also did the inside for her with the same papers and using my EK punch.

Well I am quiet pleased with the result, what do you think my friends.
Thank you for taking the time to pop by my place and now I off to see what you have created.

Hugs

Creative Card Crew, Kaboodledoodles, Creative Inspirations, Darling Card Makers

Good Morning ladies
Today has started very early here for me as I have workers in the house and on the roof, so the start was 7 o’clock, before it gets too hot outside, bit too early for me lol. My AC has gone funny in the bedroom and my water in the taps is coming out black agggg, everything goes wrong at once in this house.

Well onto my DT spot for Cute Daisy May and this week and the theme is a friendship card, I used a new Daisy image that Linnie has just designed, I just love these new designs and I used sheet 56, you can find the images of Daisy and her accessories here, plus a free download image.

I coloured Daisy with my Copic and gelled the flowers to make them shine but I don’t think you can see it on this pic, ahh well.

The flowers and ribbon are Bo Bunny and the spacers are a RAK from Linda at Crafty Creations ohh thank you so much Linda I love them, papers are Bo Bunny and K and Co and I used an EK punch for the border and BosKut die for the leafs, the bling is from Kaban .

The inside:
The sentiments are from a store called Stamping all Day, owned by the lovely Nicky and she has the most gorgeous sentiment stamps.

I have entered it into four challenges this week.

Creative Card Crew and their theme is Polka Dots.

Kaboodledoodles and their theme is to use a Digital Image.

Creative Inspirations and their theme is to use Bling

Darling Card Makers and their theme is border treatments.

Friends Card

Friends Card

Good Afternoon Ladies
Well busy day today, as I was up very early too take two doggies for a walk as my friend has gone away for a few days, then had a play in the garden with the dogs or should I say I had a play as they just sat a watched me, I am sure they were thinking, ok Linda’s lost it lol.

On to my card I made this morning, its for the Whiff of Joy Challenge and you had to make a friendship card which was great as I was making one for my friend in the UK to send her, along with some crafting goodies. All the things you see on the card are from K and Co except the image of course which is WFJ and I cannot wait till my Summer stamp kit comes ohhh.
I used Stickles on the wings, cakes and flowers, the lace bit from my stash and a distressing ink is Pink/Brown around the image, I also sand papered round the pink card.
I did the inside too with matching papers and a flower punch.

The reason I use Bo Bunny, Shabby Princess and K and Co a lot is these are the makes we get in our 1 craft shop, I am hoping she will get something different soon (not complaining really) I just like a change now and then.
Time to go as hubby will be in soon and I am doing afternoon tea yummy, thanks for popping in and I shall be round your blogs later.
