Two commision cards for today

Hi Everyone

Had a great meal out last night and some really good wine hic so feeling a bit lethargic today so the ironing can wait but I do have two cards to show you that I made during the week and they are both commission cards.

The first is for a Male Birthday so it’s quiet plain but the sentiment says it all and my friend thought it quiet funny and very appropriate for her male friend.

I love this bright paper from Bo Bunny and it was my last piece so I feel a shopping trip coming on, not that I need an excuse as hubby would say.

The image and sentiment is from Bugaboo and coloured with Copic and a Copic fine nip pen for the faux stitching, I added Kaban bling to finish.

The inside has a computer generated sentiment and faux stitching.

Challenges Entered

Catch The Bug – Anything Goes.

Digital Tuesday – Bling it up

Spoonful of Sugar – Stitching

Simon Says – Stitching.

My second card is also a commission card for an Anniversary, using a Penny Black image, coloured with copic, paper is from Bo Bunny again, the flowers are made from a Nessti die and inked with Spun Sugar distressing ink from Tim Holtz.
I also used a M/S and EK punch, pearls, ribbon, butterfly and lace from my stash.

The inside is also the same Penny Black image which I coloured then copied and shrunk to a smaller size.
The sentiment is from Ann at Raindrop Echo Design you can get these wonderful quotes from Whimsy stamps.

have entered the following challenges with this card.

Papertake Weekly – Anything Goes

Penny Black – Desert Island

Try it on Tuesday – Flower Power

Bearly Mine – Anything Goes

Sentimental Sunday - Anything Goes

Sirstampalot -Anything Goes

Well that’s all for today and I shall see you all later, it’s good to see you and I do appreciate the time you take to pop over and see me.

Busy Busy

Hi Everyone, I hope you’re all having a good day, it’s very hot and humid here.

Onto my card for today and this is a commission card that is going to the UK for a friends hubby, I have not put the sentiment onto it as I could not remember what she said ekkkkk so I did two for her, one with Happy Birthday hubby and one with his name on, so she can take her pick.

By request is a Bicardi bottle and chocolate image, that I ran through my Xron to make them into stickers then added to the card, so we can guess what he likes lol, I hope she likes the card!

I have used a Bugaboo image coloured with Copic and Sakura glitter pens also using Basic Grey papers which have been distressed with Tim Holtz ink, finishing with a bit of glitz in the corners.

I have entered it into the following challenges

Catch the Bug- It’s a Man’s World

One Stop Craft - Stickers

Kaboodle Doodle - Food Drink

Sisterhood of Crafters – Male Theme

I have just about got the house sorted now and all the dreaded ironing done. I love holidays and coming back home but I hate the rest that goes with it lol.

I shall be popping round to see you after I have had a cup of tea, so happy crafting and thanks for popping round to see me.

Dude Time Doodles

Hi Everyone

Today is the day to challenge yourself for a GUEST SPOT on the incredible, the fun, the amazing Dude Time Doodles Design Team for the month of December and you can use this free image and this is what I created with it.

I have been busy making cards but unable to upload them till now, DH got me a new laptop this weekend and he has been transfering all my stuff to my new one, so I have had to use his to blog, all my pics are on my computer, anyway he's finished it now and I am up and running again.

We went to look at sewing machines as I am thinking of getting a big moma one as the baby one I have for cards is driving me nuts and I will not use it anymore and we came away with a laptop, errr whats going on! Brian thinks it the meds hes on that makes him do this, as last week he went for coffee and came back with a flat screen TV, keep taking the meds darling lol I not complaining.

I shall see you all later as I am going on a little blog hop, I shall have a small candy this week too, just 3 or 4 things up for grabs so do pop back.

Male card

Male Card

Good Evening ladies,

I got to play with a new stamp tonight, this is one I bought for my brother’s if you remember I have five, and thought this was a good buy as it’s male and football ( no matter they will all get the same one lol) they all play, one is even a referee so he should like it. I also did it for Cupcake Craft Challenge, which this week you have to make a male card.

The papers for a change are Shappy Princess funny since it’s a male card lol and I raised the brown dotty paper with some sticky pads, then we are back to Bo Bunny! brads, ribbon and saying. I cut the image out and mounted it onto labels 1 Nestabilitie with some raised sticky pads, I also cut out another football to make it a 3D effect and coloured the stamp image with Copice pens, I did his hair orange as my brother has orange hair, hope he likes it.

Thank you for popping in again and I wish you a very happy night or day wherever you are, off to check out your blogs now.

Male card

Male card

Hello, what a day today first the sun came out, so I put the cushions out thinking I might sit outside today and do a bit of studying, then the wind came up really strong and that means rain, yep it rained, so I put the cushions away, then the sun, so put the cushions back out, I bet you guessed by now, yep the rain again, so I gave up and rang my friend and we went for tea and scones yummy and the sun came back out lol.

This afternoon I had to make a male card again this time for my brother (I have 5) so I tried out a new stamp I bought (remember tea shop next door to the craft shop) today, which is a pocket watch, I had to have a few goes to get the hands correct, in fact quiet a few.
I also found this lovely verse to go inside the card too, which is apt for my brother who was always sliding down the banister (memories).
Verse Inside says

As you slide down
the banister of life,
may all the splinters
point in the right direction.

I am not really happy with the way I did the stamp and was thinking maybe I should cut it out and then mount it, might do that later as I still cannot decide, what do you think? now be honest, I can take it lol.

Well ladies and any gents who might be peeking at this thank you again for giving me your time and visiting me, going to have a blog hop now so do enjoy your day or even night wherever you may be.

Inside with verse and saying stamp.

Cuttlebug Card,Blog Challenge Sites, Male Card

Cuttlebug Card,Blog Challenge Sites, Male Card.
I bring you a card using the cuttlebug embossing folders and it also happens to be a male one which I find hard to do sometimes but this one was different as the idea came quickly so I had to make it straight away before the mojo left me lol.
I embossed the background with the Happy Birthday folder the I embossed the striped shirt paper with the swiss dots to make it look like seersucker. I went on to fold the shirt and add the buttons and pocket complete with hankie finely added the stamped saying onto contrasting card.
This one is for my brother as it's his Birthday soon and I hope he likes it.
I also entered it for the Cuttlebug challenge, if you too would like to enter or just browse this great blog go to: http://thecuttlebugspot.blogspot.com/ .
