Favour Box's

Hi All

I have some favour boxs to show you today also sorry I have not been round to see you but I have not been able to get on blogger for some reason, it really erks me when I cannot even leave a comment and blogger plays up, but so far so good today.

Anyway back to my favour box's, I was asked by a shop if I could supply Shabby Chic favour treats for a Wedding Showers and Baby Showers and this is what I came up with.

The first one is made with rose papers with round circles and lettering all cut on my silhouette with added lace and ribbon, inside the circles are chocolate mints.

 My next is a box with rose paper and lace with pink ribbon to match.

Inside the box I have covered the chocolates with the same rose paper and lace and cut with love, from my silhouette again.

The next are baby shower treats again lettering cut on my silhouette with matching paper and ribbon.

The inside has chocolates are wrapped matching paper and lace

On each treat I have put a heart on the back.

 I hope she and you like them.

Back on my blog

 Hi Everyone

Well it has been a few weeks since I blogged , I have had friends visiting from the UK it also happens to be my best mate I craft and shop with so it has been 2 months of bliss just crafting, shopping and dining out, her hubby just happens to be Brain best friend too so they just hung out and had a few beers in the garden chatted and a bit of DIY as men do.

I have also been busy with commission cards, baby headbands and class's so it's been full on here.

My card for today is one of the commission creations, one of many for a shop here, it is coloured with Copic and the image is from Penny Black.

This card also has a Baby headband attached to it that just slips off the card. It is made with quilting material and ribbon, the headband is made from elasticated ribbon to match, they are so easy to make and was perfect for this commission

 Another commission creation is a headband on it's own in lilac.

 This one is made from stretch lace and the flower is made from ribbon and pearls, hope you like them.


Well that's all for today and back into my craft room as I have wedding commissions to do now, if only I could find my wedding stamps I have no idea what I did with them and spent all day yesterday looking, I have a feeling I borrowed them to someone, so at this late stage I will have to go looking for digi ones, any ideas my friends?

My inspiration was the image I used, as soon as I spied this image I knew I wanted to do a baby card with it.

The extra stash item I used was glitter on the wings.

 

I coloured her with Copic and chalks for the background also adding bling to the corners and stickles to the wings, the flower and baby in the pram are from my stash.

Baby Card

Baby Card

Hi everyone, Hope your all having a good day, as I am here, I went on a shopping trip again today as it’s the last few days of my friends stay and went out to buy last minute things with her, then off for lunch at La Chocolate and even took chocolate cakes home as we were too full after the first course to eat them, yummy.
So to the card I am back on the baby cards as I have to get them finished by 3 April as we go to Cyprus then, we are going for a month and shall have the grandchildren there as well, only for 2 weeks though.

Off to look at your creations now, oh by the way if you have been emailing me I am not ignoring you I cannot access my hotmail account and I have no idea why, I hope to get it sorted soon.

Baby card and Tag

Thank you all for the lovely comments you have been leaving me and I do appreciate it, thank you very much my friends.

Baby card and tag tonight, I did not have time to create today so this is one I did last week.

I went to my favourite shop that had a half price sale on and buy a sale item and get one free, well I spent longer in there than I had intended, but wow was I a happy bunny when I came out (big grin). It was made even better as I had my eye on these Egyptian Cotton Towels in Turquoise, brilliant in the sale and half price wooopie, anyway enough of my ramblings here's the card.

Cuttlebug, Buttons, Bows, Challenge,Baby Girl

Buttons and Bows Challenge

Baby girl card today plus the usual tag to go with it. I entered it into the challenge at One Stop Craft Challenge and this was called Buttons and Bows, since I have a lot of baby cards to do I thought I'd combine them with a challenge and this is what I came up with. My friend who wants these cards want's them clean and simple so I think this fits in ok. Having trouble with the light tonight so it's not the best photo I'v taken. I print the verse on the inside of the card first and this is what it says.

a coo and a smile,

Help needed

As some of you know I have just started stamping but I am having trouble with the filling in of colours, I use whisper pens and maybe some of you lovely ladies can help me. I have been doing a face today, so a darker colour for the edges and then with a paint brush and a little water blending into the middle but it looked like a muddy pile with a red bit in the middle for cheeks agggg.
Do I put the colour on the paper with the brush or the paint brush over the pen, or use all pen? or am I doing this total wrong, hope you understand that lol. I know their are some very talented blog ladies out there and I could use all the help I can get please.
Next I tried chalks this went ok but not really good for the fines lines. Tommorow I shall by some normal colouring pencils oh I do have water coloured pencils too, can Inuse these? just remembered them.
Got really frustrated so I made a card another baby girl one and I entered into the Caardvarks challenge blog which is called Polke Dots.

Baby Girl Card

Baby girl card I finally got round to posting, the elephant is a cuttlebug die cut which I did 2 of pink and 1 of stripes and separated them with thin padded squares, the paper is some I had left over and adorned with pink dotted ribbon and tied little bows. I did not do a tag this time but a mini card to go with it. I also have in the cuttlebug set a lion giraffe and a monkey, now I was thinking of using these on the baby cards but not too sure, what do you think?

Baby card and tag for you tonight I was going to post a LO I did of the grandkids but my camera needs new batteries and for the life of me I can not remember where I put them, no doubt after this post I will remember as is the usual case lol.

I have been asked by a friend (she has a shop) to make baby cards for boys and girls, women and men, 5 of each and all different, wohoo all these cards and no insperation! anyway this is my first one and hope my mojo is back tommorow. Oh forgot to say tags to go with them.
