Journal Page

Hi All

This week I had time to do another journal page and this was inspired by Vicky who does wonderful creations, some with videos and as soon as I spied this one I had to have a go.

The background is squares of paper, then paint  over with distress paints in 4 different colours and sponged off with baby wipes to get light and dark and the edges smudged with dark coffee.

 Each square was outlined in Pitt pens and smudged to blend in, then to finish the back ground I dipped a cap off my polish and a smaller one in coco ink to represent cup marks( I did not have a cup stain stamp) added more paint and splodged about a bit.

The cups I cut on my silhouette out of different papers and stuck in a stack, using pitt pens again I shaded ,ink and splodged (technical term is splodged lol) I made little tags for the tea bags inked again.

The letters are from Tim Holtz and painted with distress paint, the tea letters I had in my stash and covered with paper and shaded with pitt pens.

To finish I glazed the whole thing then added car polish on the top to shine this also stops the pages sticking together when your journal is closed.

I had so much fun doing this and was covered in paint and glue, love it.

New card

Hi all

Today for a change I have a card to show you, been busy in my craft room with cards but had to go a bit easy as I have a bad back, did it in the other day ouch.

Anyways back to my card, I used a Julie Nutting stamp and wings.

I decoupaged the card blank with scraps of paper from my box then I went a bit over the top with the frantage but hey never mind, love it anyway. I paper pierced the doll and added the wings plus a few pearls to finish.

Altered Dominos

Hi All

 Wow what a week first my camera threw a wobble so ok I will take pics with my iphone all going well then my iphone will not sink with my computer since I updated my itunes ok I will use my ipad for my pictures and that will not sink with my computer grrrrr getting really annoyed now.

Unistall everything and reistall hoping that will solve the problem grrr no still the same so after hours of researching the problem I find I am not the only one with this problem so take advice and search for the drivers I need, no drivers they have disappeared grreeee getting more annoyed now so reinstall the drivers.

Still not working so I cannot download any pictures off my ipad or iphone got so annoyed I can not tell you what I was ranting lol in the end I have passed this problem onto my hubby with a list of things I have done and hope he can solve the problem, itunes and apple has a lot to answer for, ok rant over till next week lol.

Oh had to ask hubby if I can use his camera which I am not use to but hey it works and I can post again.


Now to my altered dominoes I shall make this short as this is going to end up a long post.

These dominoes have been inked all over with alcohol inks in pink, brown and green the crown image I got from GraphicLand along with some others, fantastic graphics and perfect for what I wanted. the second is a scrap of shabby chic paper and I added some pan pastel round the edges, added bling and flowers then to finish I covered them with gloss accents.

This one I made into a necklace and the ones above will be made into necklaces and key rings.

All the dominoes have been inked in different colours and flowered paper on the back and finished with gloss accents so they shine both sides. I will show you more tomorrow when they are dry.

Favour Box's

Hi All

I have some favour boxs to show you today also sorry I have not been round to see you but I have not been able to get on blogger for some reason, it really erks me when I cannot even leave a comment and blogger plays up, but so far so good today.

Anyway back to my favour box's, I was asked by a shop if I could supply Shabby Chic favour treats for a Wedding Showers and Baby Showers and this is what I came up with.

The first one is made with rose papers with round circles and lettering all cut on my silhouette with added lace and ribbon, inside the circles are chocolate mints.

 My next is a box with rose paper and lace with pink ribbon to match.

Inside the box I have covered the chocolates with the same rose paper and lace and cut with love, from my silhouette again.

The next are baby shower treats again lettering cut on my silhouette with matching paper and ribbon.

The inside has chocolates are wrapped matching paper and lace

Second baby treat box's with paper lace and ribbon.

The inside with matching chocolates and hearts.

On each treat I have put a heart on the back.

 I hope she and you like them.

Shabby Chic Necklace

Hi Everyone

Today I have a Shabby Chic necklace to show you, I have been keeping myself busy as Brian is away in the UK for his checks, Its so quiet in the house and I have started to chat to myself ekkkk my dining table is covered in jewellery things and the good thing is I don't have to clear it away lol as he is not here.

My craft room has things drying on the table as I am doing a mixed media project and I have just finished making plaster of paris box's for my shabby chic projects and images coloured and ready for the cards to be put together so its all go here.

Oh stop rabbiting Linda and get on with it hahaha back to my necklace now.

Pearls with a mixture of brass bead caps some mixed with crystal's and some added diamanté s  with chain and a clasp

Shabby Chic Choker

Hi Everyone

I have been busy in my craft room while Brian has been resting he's doing ok but very tired, I created some shabby chic chokers and cuffs.

They are made with vintage lace, ribbon, bling and buttons very difficult to get the right picture because of the reflection on the bling brooch.

I took another picture this time laying it flat and this came out better so you can see it now. It has 5 layers of lace, I so love lace, I could do with some more ekkkk stop it Linda

The back of the choker but I think I could have tied the bow better, I would tie it smaller next time.

This one is a cuff I made also with 5 layers of lace and a vintage material rose.

This is made so you can put your thumb through it or without and pull it further up your

wrist.

Finally I made pouches to put them in with a vintage button for the fastener.

Well that's my creations I made this week now back to my card orders and more shabby chic wired necklaces to make. Could not find a challenge today to put them in, shame.

Hubby update and canvas

Hi Everyone
An update on Brian, he is doing very well and eating quiet well, pleased about that, he does get tired very easily but that is expected, he is also getting very bored at home as he is so use to been busy ah well these things come to test us but at least he is back home now and that makes me very happy.

The operation went very well but they cannot remover the tumour or the 7 others he has but they can give him treatment to stop it growing its a bit complicated so I can not explain it or my blog post would be a mile long, I am just happy he is not in pain and recovering very well and he is itching to get back to work. 

While he was in hospital I made this canvas the picture is of my granddaughter, loved doing this, I got the idea off a lady on utube but I cannot remember her name when I find it I will post it as she does awesome mixed media things.

Hi All

 I will be back blogging as soon as I can.

 Brian has had to go in hospital again as they found another tumour in his liver, he was operated on yesterday and is recovering very well and I hope he will be well enough to come out soon.

The last few weeks we have been under a lot of strain and stress till we found out what was going on, it does not get any easier but at least we know now and something can be done about it.

I have created a few things but not had the inclination to post, just wanted to let you know I have not disappeared and have been lurking round your blogs but was not in the mood to do comments, sorry about that, aha I have become a stalker on my ipad.

If the shoe fits

Hi All

Very apt this card! If the Shoe fits!! because I do buy lol I keep all my shoes in box's with a picture on the front so I do not have to look in all the box's when I need that special pair I know bit over the top but it works for me.

I do have to resort to seeking them in now as hubby thinks I have far to many oh bags as well but that is another story, anyway I digress and back to my card.

The image is a Bugaboo and coloured with Copic, I have been saving this paper as it is my last piece sob sob I love it also the combination of Pink and Green.

Birthday Celebration and Bracelet

Hi Everyone,

 Hope your all having a lovely romantic day, we are going out for dinner tonight, steak. fish (for him) and a few drinks yummy, looking forward to it. I can show off my new hair do, I had it cut and burgandy streaks put in, I think I must be rebelling or going through a mid life crisis lol.


 Anyway onto my card it's a Birthday Celebration.

I used a Bugaboo image and coloured her with Copic, this is for a friends Birthday so I hope she likes it.

I also finished my bracelet that I wanted to show you.

It's odd count peyote made with silver beads, flowers, swarovski bicon's, pearls, silver leafs and lots of silver bling and to finish I added  a ruffle.

It has a zip clasp on it.

Rock Boy Card

Hi Everyone

Today I have a boy card to show you, it is a Kenny K image and coloured with Copic.

The papers are from a pad just for boys and I love it as I have a hard time finding papers for men and boys.
I use a punch with musical notes from EK and kept the negatives to put in the corner of the image, I also decorated the inside to match oops forgot to take pic of that bit ekk.

I have been so busy with orders lately I have not had time to blog or pop round to see you, sorry about that but it does earn me a bit of pin money to spend on more stash ekkk more stash I hear Brian say lol.

All orders finished for now so I can have a little hop around and see what's going on and what I have missed.
