Exciting News

Hi all

Today I have some exciting new to share with you, I have been asked by Bugaboo who have Catch the Bug challenge blog to be a guest designer for December and January, as you all know I love Jodie’s images and use them a lot, you do not have ask me twice, I was straight in there with the answer YES and still cannot believe I am going to design for them ohhh so excited.

This is my first card as part of this wonderful team and I have used one of the new releases called Christmas Prim Angel, so cute too.

I have coloured with Copic and Prisma pencils, the papers are D/C, the big snowflake is a cuttlebug die and the small one is a Marianne die which have been glittered, The sentiment and 25^th stamp are both from Whimsy stamps finishing with pearls and ribbon.

I shall be in my craft room all day today as Brian is feeling a bit under the weather and very tired so he is going to rest and I want to keep the house quiet, I was going to clean today, what a darn shame I will have to craft instead lol.

I hope Brian is feeling better tomorrow as I hate to see him unwell but rest is very good for him.

Busy in Bahrain

Good Morning all,

I have had no time to post this week as I have been so busy, I have a fair to get ready for, its over at our local club, hubby said why not have a table and sell some of your stuff and clear your craft room out , what’s matter with my craft room !!!!CLEAR IT OUT, are you mad!!!!

He does have a point I cannot keep everything I have made, so I thought I might sell my candles and cards but the wood and other things I am keeping and I might think about selling that next year lol.

I still have this ringing in my ears CLEAR IT OUT !!!!!

I have to say I am a bit nervous as I usually only sell to friends and the craft shop, but they don't know who I am in the craft shop lol and to stand behind a table is a different matter ekk, I do have a friend going with me so I will not be alone, I hope they like my stuff, I do not usually do craft fairs.

Onto my card, this is one of the commission cards I had to do, only nine more to go, for the same order, I have been very very lucky up to now and got some orders in from the craft shop where I sell my cards.

I have use a LOTV stamp and coloured it with copic and prisma pencils the papers are Bo Bunny and she wanted trees and snowflakes and just finished it with pearls.

New Stamp

Good Afternoon all

Today I have a LOTV card to show you, this is one of my new stamps I bought at the fair, I have just realized looking at the pic I forgot to add the bow to it and its already being sold aggg but I don’t think she realized it was missing.

 

Inside

I coloured her with copic and prisma pensil, the fir and snowflakes I did with a very fine glitter, the papers are Bo Bunny. I also used a Marianne die and M/S punch the sentiment is computer generated and I finished with pearls.

Beautiful Day Here

Good Morning a beautiful day here and I have finally got my garden boxes planted and seeds sow but then I thought I while I am in the mood I should put my lights up ready for Christmas aggg I still have a load of cards to make so the cards won and here is one of them.

I bought some new images from Bugaboo and have just got round to getting colour on them, I love the character ones and I am always asked for them, the one for today is a commission card for a friend and she wanted a pocket on the inside, I put a note in just to show you where the pocket is ,as it’s not that easy to see.

 

The Inside with the Pocket

The image is coloured with Copic and Prisma, papers are Bo Bunny and inked with brushed corduroy distressing ink, the little reindeers are from an xcut punch which have been sprayed with glimmer mist, sorry this does not show very well but they do sparkle, finally a sentiment, pearls, ribbon and a glitter snowflake to finish.

Whimsy Inspirational Challenge

Hello All

 Today we see a new challenge over at Whimsy and this week we would like to see Flowers and a Sentiment on your project and I know you all love flowers as I do.

I used one of Ann’s sentiments from the season greetings selection, this makes a perfect focal point on your card, I distress all the papers and inked with Tea Dye, I glittered the flowers  and added brads, the snowflakes and baubles are from a M/S punch and the reindeer I cut on my cricut.

Don't forget You don't have to use a whimsy image but It would be great if you did also it doesn't have to be a card, we welcome all paper projects.

Sunday's With Chrissy Challenge

Hi all,
Sorry I have not been around this week, so much to do since I got back from the UK and the time has just flown before I knew it, anyway onto my card and today I have another Christmas card to show you and this one is for Sundays with Chrissy Challenge Blog, this month we would love to see Non Traditional Colours on your creations.

So many wonderful images of Chrissy’s to choose from it was a difficulty decision on which one to use, I decided on Sharing the Warmth and the colours Pink and Aqua, two of my favourite colours and I am so pleased with the outcome.

I coloured the image with Copic and Primsa , I so enjoyed colouring this, the papers are Bo Bunny , the sentiment is from LOTV, the flowers are K and Co and the snowflakes from Hobby House.

Christmas Card

Good Morning all

Today I have another Christmas card to show you and this is a commission for a friend, the image is by Chrissy Armstrong, so cute too, I loved colouring this one with copic and primsa pens with a touch of glitter.

The doily and heart die are by Marianne designs just one of my little purchases from UK, I did shop rather a lot lol but I could not help myself hehehe and I still say to myself wish I had got this and that oh and that too lol.

Back to the card the papers are Basic Grey and ink with Antique Linen distressing ink, the wooden snow flake and reindeer are some new purchases too, from Hobby Craft, finishing with some rik,rak felt.

Beautiful day here

Good Afternoon all,

Beautiful day here in Bahrain not too hot and we can sit in the garden, about time after the long hot summer, it’s also that time of year to plant the garden and flower  box’s up so I bought all the plants yesterday and got to work but only manages 8 then had a relapse and had to have tea and cake lol.

I shall have to do more later today but first it’s back in the craft room as I feel challenges coming on and I also have orders for Christmas cards to do.

So onto my card and it’s for one of my favourite challenge blogs, Yeh it’s Bugaboo time, just love their images, I bought the new Christmas characters this week and shall have to get them inked up soon lol, this image is what I coloured on holiday with copic.

The papers are Bo Bunny I also used my new dies I bought in the UK, the Christmas Tree and Corner Die, the little Christmas trees I got in the craft shop here.

Candy Draw and Hols

Hi Everyone I am now back home and unpacked my very over weight suitcases lol. Brian tests went very well and his cancer is still stable, so the treatment is still working thank god and I pray it continues, he did have a few hiccups but they are being treated as well, one of them was, he cannot absorb fructose, so a change of diet is required so I am trying to find out what is good and what’s bad, but we will get there.


My holiday was fantastic and we had a great time with the grandkids, did London Zoo, shopping in London and even the pictures ,we did so much I cannot write it all down lol.

 It was good seeing all the family again and my mom look great and we had a few giggles, eating out and drinks with friends, so good.

I will tell you about my hols and Birthday later, I did get a Tim Holtz Vagabon machine from hubby plus loads of other stuff so I was a very lucky girl.

My Card

I have used one of Lia’s images from Lia Stampz called Kobi, so so cute don’t you think, the sentiment is from the Kobi sentiment sheet that matches it.

The images was coloured with Copic and sorry I cannot remember the papers as I had taken the label off but perfect for this image I thought, I layered it and used ribbon and W/O flowers to match.
