Crafty Ann’s

Ann over at Crafty Ann’s challenge blog asked me to be a guest designer for the month of March, and I can not believe this is my last creation for her, I shall miss crafting for Ann as I enjoyed working with her lovely images and papers. I also loved looking at your creations for the last challenge as they were all so beautifully

Onto this fortnights challenge which has the theme of, a card, gift or memento for a someone special to you, I made the flowers for my mom and you can find these flowers HERE at Crafty Ann’s digi shop they are called 3D Short and Long Petal and 3D Daisy / Gerbera, plus you also get the leafs too, please check out the other selection of images, you will not be disappointed they are all gorgeous.

I coloured the flowers with Copic then cut them all out and inked all the edges in the same colour as the flowers, I then added the shine with glossy accents and left to dry overnight, using spacers and brads to finish them off, finally securing them to wire with contact adhesive.

I saved one flower to make this photo frame for a friend, it is made with coloured cardboard with a square aperture cut out of the middle, the lilac paper inside is also from Crafty Ann’s digi shop too, I just added sentiment and pearls to finish it off.

The paper and flower can easily be removed and a picture will slot in to replace them but I think my friend will keep it like this.

To take part in the challenges you don't have to use any digital images or papers designed by Crafty Ann's but please go and have a look, also check out the work of the talented DT’s while your there, you will not be disappointed their work is beautiful, I am so honoured to have been creating with them for this month, thank you Ann and all the DT ladies.

Wedding Card and some Challenges

Good Afternoon ladies and I hope your all having a lovely day.

Today I have another wedding card to show you, all go with wedding cards this week, the image is a die cut from K and Co which I glittered and use diamond glimmer glaze on to give it a bit of sparkle, it also has a touch of pink in the sparkly bits which is perfect as her bridesmaid is wearing a raspberry dress.

I know it does not matter what colour the card is but I thought it would give it a nice personnel touch with the added pink. I also sprayed the paper with diamond glaze and inked all the edges, to finish the card I added flowers, pins, pearls and a little boot.

The inside I just added a sentiment and some wedding bells to finish.

I have entered it into the following challenges.
Die Cut Dreams - New Beginnings
One Stop Craft - Let it Shine

Thank for popping by my place and I shall see you all later.

Wedding Card and some Challenges

Hi Everyone
Well this week I have not had time to blog at all, I have only in the past day or so got back from Abu Dab then I had a commissioned card to finish for my friends daughters wedding on the 5th, plus another two wedding cards to finish, so its been all go since then.

I also have my husbands cousin arriving on Saturday, her self and her hubby are on a cruises that tours the Middle East and they get to stop at Bahrain for 8 hours so I will pick them up and give the a quick tour of Bahrain then back to our place for lunch
This also gives them a chance to see Brian as they have not seen him for near 2 years, then I take them back to the ship.

Onto my wedding card and box.

I say box because when I went to put it in the envelope it would not fit because of the flowers duh, I think the box looks much better than the envelope in my opinion.

I used one of Linnies images that she created for her challenge blog Cute Daisy May, the paper is Elegance from K and Co and I inked all the edges in silver to match the silver detail in the image and the sentiment writing that was computer generated.

The inside verse is also computer generated in silver

The box to match is trimmed with Bo Bunny ribbon.

Other details
Medium – Copic
Punch – MS
Pearls – Hobby House
Pin, Flowers - Souk
Charm – Die Cut Dreams
Ink – Color Box
Shimmer – Tattered Angels
Glitter – Copic pens
Leafs - Boss Kut
Corner Punch – Paper Shapers

I have entered it into the following challenges:

Die Cut Dreams – Use two Punch’s

Secret Crafter – Anything Goes

Cute Card Thursday – Anniversaries. I hope my card counts as a celebration of marriage.

So onto this weeks challenge for Prairie Fairy and this week Roberta has asked us to have tissue paper on our creation, well I had no idea what to do with tissue paper and after a lot of deliberation I decide on making some flowers and leafs for my card, not as easy as I thought and after my third attempt and very messy hands, with all the ink, I came up with these flowers with added pearls for the centre.

I am quiet pleased with the result, so if your stuck with what to do with the tissue paper challenge this week why not have a go at making your own flowers.

The image I used on my card this week is called Prima ballerina which you can find here plus many more beautiful images created by Roberta and the sentiment was done on the computer, the papers are my usual Bo Bunny and the tiny bit of lace is from another card.

Hi to everyone, this is just a quick post tonight, I did this card early tonight, it's for my DH Birthday on Saturday.

Now I expext him to say when I ask for a kiss where's the ice lol, but laid over a block of ice I don't think so brrrr JUST KISS ME.

I have entered it the following challenges: Die Cut Dreams with no flowers allowed and Squigglyfly with make a card with a scene, I hope this counts

Another Christmas Card

Good Morning all my blogging friends and I hope the sun is shining for you, as it is here for me.

I managed another Christmas card this morning, as I did promise myself at least one a week for my collection, so I am quiet happy as it’s only Tuesday but I must get my hubby’s Birthday card done next, as his BD is looming and I found a great image from Squigglyfly for that, but you will have to wait till middle of the week to see it.

I wanted to enter a few challenges with my Christmas card and there is a perfect sketch over at Winter Wonderland which I loved using, the image is from PinkCat Studio and is just right for a celebration which is the theme over at Creative Card Crew.
Over at Susie and Vikki Christmas Club their theme this week is Hot Chocolate, well blow me down with a feather I do not have any Christmas images with hot chocolate, so I decide my cat is hot hot hot and the bag she is delivering has chocolates in it hence hot chocolate, so I hope I qualify with my way out thinking lol.
I added some faux stiching, which happens to be the theme over at Bah Humbug for this week.

I also added faux stitcing to the inside.

Well I think that covers it all for today and thanks for popping by my place and I shall see you all soon, as I shall be popping over to your place to see what you have been up to.

Challenged Myself Today

Hi all
I had bit of a dilemma this morning as hubby was not too good and had to stay in bed and rest I was going to clean the house but the hoover would wake him then I decided to iron but the steam makes too much noise so I thought I would dust but we have a sand storm at the moment so there’s no point because as soon as you start the darn dust comes back, well now I have got all the excuses out of the way of why I can not do the boring house stuff lol. I retreated to my craft room and I set my self a challenge to do a Christmas card towards my stash not only this but to combine all three Christmas challenge blogs themes I wanted to enter into one, not as easy as I thought it would be.

First I needed a sketch to follow (I love a sketch makes life so much easier) and when I spied the sketch by Carole over at Friday Sketchers I just loved it, I did flip it round.

The next challenge was over at Susie and Vicki Christmas Club and there theme is Girly Christmas and I knew I had an image of this cute girl by Digital Doodling which fits perfect I think, don’t you?

I coloured her with Copic and Ho2’s in green and added winter stickles on the coat trims and muff oh all the snowflakes as well, then added green bling for the coat buttons.
The paper is by Basic Grey and all the edges have been distressed with Timmy ink called Pine Needles plus they are all different shades of green which leads me to the next challenge over at Winter Wonderland, which is monochromatic tones.
The flower I made from a flower Nesstie (can not remember the name of the die) I then distressed all the edges with the same ink and sand papered, all the edges have had the stickles treatment and then sprayed with Glimmer Mist and added a pearl to finish. I did the same with the Christmas Trees and added a pearl to the top, which leads me onto the next challenge over at Bah Humbug with the theme of Trees.

The inside I wanted to follow the theme with matching paper, pearls and trees.

I could not post it till now as I had to wait for the flowers to dry before I could mould them into to shape and add them to the card.

Wow I do rabbit on a bit sometimes but I am very happy with this card and it’s another one for my stash, the only thing is, the one’s I really like I never want to give away lol.

Oh one more thing its about Prima

That's Right! Prima is giving away two more AMAZING prize packages in conjunction with our BIG SECRET!
We want EVERYONE to have a chance to win so we are changing the rules a bit.
