Cute Daisy May and Colour Create

Good Morning all, today is another day for the Cute Daisy May Challenge and this week we want to see Red on your creations,. What a great opportunity to get those Christmas papers out again or if you have not started your Christmas cards yet why not start now.
.

I know I am miles behind with my cards I don’t think I will ever catch up plus I have a craft room that looks like a bomb has hit it, so I’d better clear that up first, as I know somewhere under all that mess is two images I just coloured last night lol.

Over at Colour Create they are looking for Red, Green and White this week so I have entered it into their challenge

Thanks for popping round again to my little place and I shall see you all later.

Two candles and a Box

Good Morning ladies and today I have two candles and a box to share with you, I read about how to decoration candles with stamped images the other night and decided to have ago, quick explanation, take a single sheet of tissue or toilet roll sheet, stamp your chosen image onto it, colour with your choice of medium, I used copic.
Lay the tissue on your candle then I put a piece of grease proof paper over the top and held it tightly and gave it a blast with my heat gun, the wax melts a bit and takes up the tissue just leaving your image, hey presto an image left on your candle, to finish off I added a sentiment in the same way, also ribbon, stickles sparkle which look blue but is actually white and a bit of bling.

I have to say it took me two attempts to colour the image and I found if I went too near the edge of the image the colour would bleed over the lines so I started again in the middle of the image and coloured a little at time and this worked.

The second candle is done using a die cut I found in Cyprus, as this is for decoration only, I glued the die cut to the candle and used a stick on snowflake which I glittered, and added bling which is from Kaban along with a ribbon to finish. I also made a matching box to put chocolates in using Bo Bunny papers and ribbon, the snowflake is K and Co.

When I find my cellophane bags I will popped the candles in these and add tags.

I shall be trying the stamping on candles again as I really enjoyed making this one and as my first attempt I am quiet pleased with it.
I have entered them into:
Whimsy Stamp Challenge and this week is, Not a Card
Secret Crafter and this week they want to see a Season on your creation.
Colour Create their theme is Red Green and White, which fits in for the first candle.

Thanks for popping by again and I look forward to looking at your creations later.

Challenges today

Good Morning ladies, today’s card is for a friend to give to her little niece and I came up with this! I used the sketch from Friday Sketchers and the papers are from the Brenda Walton collection by K and Co, ribbon and flowers are Bo Bunny, brads are K and Co, the image was sent to me and I am sorry I can’t remember who sent it but thank you. I added a bit of bling and a sentiment.

The inside I used the same papers and my Martha Stewart punch, geez at this rate I am going to wear the poor thing out, but I love it. I added pockets so she could place some money for a pressie and a tag to write on.
I have also entered this into Creative Inspiration Challenge and this week.... ok you guessed the theme, a pocket card, hope you like it.

Thank you for popping by and I shall be round later to see you all.

Onto my card I did for my friend I decided on an Anya image as this is her favourite, also entered it into Any One for Anya Challenge which is a recipe of 3 papers, 1 bow and two buttons.

I also entered it into Sketch Saturday and I loved doing this sketch as it makes a great card.

I would also like to mention Hobby House where I got these superb spacers, flowers and there new design coloured brads which I am just loving also my Martha Stewart punch (my first), and La-La Land wants you to use a punch on your creation.
I can feel another spend coming on as I love these punches. The charm is from Die Cut Dreams which is just perfect for my friends card.

I also decorated the inside to match and found these lovely buttons in my stash so I added them too.

Challenges for today

Good afternoon ladies and any gents lurking around, we know you want to create too :-)

Today I have been busy in the garden planting all kinds of flowers and even managed to finish my window box’s but my luck was in when my friend rang and said TEA SHOP well you don’t have to ask me twice lol and to my surprise she asked me to show her how to make Christmas cards while my hubby is in the UK for a week (he’s goes next week) I was delighted and so we had a little shop for her and of course I could not resist a little shop for myself as she just had a delivery of new stash, groan says the purse or to my American friends wallet and we both came out very happy after tea, carrot cake and a little spend in the craft shop :-)

Onto my card which I made last night for my granddaughter who will be 9 years old next week, also she like's fairies and ballerinas and I just happened to have one which is one of Linnie’s designs, which you can find here ohhh don’t forget Cute Daisy May challenge while I am talking about Linnie as you get a pick of Linnie’s designs if you win the challenge.

I started using Squiggle Fly Sketch but then I got a bit carried away so I hope it will pass as I have entered it into their challenge.
I coloured her with H02 twinkle paints and Whimsy Stamps wanted water colours for their challenge this week so I think this will pass.

As she has wings I have entered her into SophistiCats challenge and to finish her off I added a ballerina charm which I got from Sassy Designs oh I do wish I had bought more of these as I just love them and lots of glitter and bling.

The sentiment on the inside was computer generated and I made it a pocket card so we can add some money, as she told me she is in desperate need of craft bling, as she puts it, awe so sweet.

Thank you all for popping by my place today and have a really good day all.

I should have been planting Petunias in my window box’s but the card and box won, I shall do that tomorrow morning and craft in the afternoon ohh I have grocery shopping to do as well, thinking shall I put DH on a diet lol but then again he’s going to the UK next week for a conference so he’ll blow the diet anyway !!

Onto my card and box, I decided to do an easel card after I had seen quiet a few on other blogs and thought ohh must have a go at that and this is the result. I quiet like these because using double sided paper the inside is already done for you so all you have to do is decorate it, if you want to, I just added Happy Christmas to mine but you could put another image if you desired. The images on the main panel are from the Inkidoodle - Gift Tag Set I bought myself, similar to the one in my candy.

The box I did with my Score Pal and used the same paper with snowflakes inside, I intend to have templates in my suitcase and make them up in the UK to match the Christmas cards, ideal for friends filled with chocs.

I have entered both into the following challenges:

Pennys Challenge - Winter Theme to include Ribbon and Glitter or Sparkle.

Saturday Spotlight - Repeated Image

Crafty Ann's - Celebrate

All Sorts Challenge – Bling

Secret Crafter – Easel Card

By the Cute and Girly - Winter Wonderland

Stamp for the Weekend - Festive Goodie Box

Recipe

Paper, Ribbon, Flower – Bo Bunny
Image - Inkidoodle - Gift Tag Set
Bling – Kaban
Brad – K and Co
Pearl – Big C
White Ribbon on Box – Stash
Coloured – HO2 Twinkles
Glitter – Stickles
Sentiment – From Cyprus but it has no name on it.

Don't forget their's a new challenge tommorow on Cute Daisy May

Card and Altered Tin

Good Evening

Tonight I decided to enter the Whiff of Joy challenge as my new release Christmas stamps came today whoooo I could not wait to get them inked up. I followed the sketch that was created by Jane and I have to say I will be using this sketch again as it was a delight to work with. The sleigh and the girl are individual stamps both still Whiff of Joy and from the same set.

Also Susie at Sassy Designs has started a new challenge blog and the first challenge is Christmas so I have entered into this one too, go along and see the prize it fantastic and I am keeping my fingers well and truly crossed.

The inside has matching paper and I kept the theme of the tags to match the front of the card.

Included in this set is an altered tin to match, the vanilla chocs were yummy too as I had to finish them because I wanted the tin lol.

Matching mini sketch on the front and on the lid (see told you I loved the sketch) I did just the image of the sleigh for this one, this was a bit fiddly doing every thing in miniature but I got there in the end, the other three sides have matching circle paper like the inside of the card.

Lastly the card and the tin together, I shall be filling the tin with chocolates and giving the set away as a present, I am very pleased with how these turned out.

Recipe

Paper – Basic Grey
Stamps and Sentiment stamp - Whiff of Joy new release
Inked edges of paper - Tim Holts distressing ink
Coloured – HO2 Twinkles
Flower – Bo Bunny
Ribbon thread – Inkidoodle
Leafs – Bos Cut
Corners – EK Punch
Spacers – RAK Linda
Pearls – Stash
Shakura Gel Pen

Thanks for popping by again and I shall see you later.

Cupcakes Favours

Good Evening all
This is the first time today I have had chance to post these favour cupcakes I made for a friend, they were a bit fiddle to put together and my first attempt looked like squashed tomatoes lol but I persevered as no cupcake was going to get the better of me :-)

I also did little saucers to stand them on and added glitter, unfortunately the glitter does not show very well, I quiet like the finished result, what do you think?

I have entered them into

Die Cut Dreams Challenge.
Still looking for another challenge to enter them into, any ideas out there?

Susie is also celebrate her new challenge blog (Susie's Sassy Challenge) which starts here on her blog on Thursday, so check it out ladies I am sure it's going to be a lot of fun knowing Susie.

Also she has a candy to celebrate this (see below) I love die cuts so I shall be entering.

Thanks for popping by again and I shall see you all later.
