Christmas card for a friend who lives here in Bahrain and originates from Canada, it was this lovely lady who made this paper out of Water Melon and gave some to me, so I thought I would make a card for her using the same said paper. Very talented lady and the paper is fantastic with a very rich colour, she also made me some white from a degradable cotton shirt which I can not wait to use.

Blog Candy sites, Christmas box's
Todays blog candy site is Jennys at the Artistic Stamper and some Christmas box's.
I have not posted for a few days as my friends are here from the UK and we have been very busy shopping and so forth, one of the things Norma and I have been doing is crafting together (it's so good to have a friend to craft with ) and we thought of these box's to make and use them as name tags for the Christmas table, as I usually have a name tag and a small box of Chocolates for every person I liked the idea of this. I have just show three here but there are 10 in all.

Christmas Tree, Tips, Blog Candy Sites
These cards I made tonight using paper from Claires hand making cards web site, the silver snow flakes and blue crystles I got in Hobbycraft in the UK. Sorry about the pics but the light shines on the silver snow flakes and reflects, I have the same problem with glitter. I also use the swiss dot folder in the cuttle bug and the Nestabilities rectangle and circle dies.

Cuttle bug card and candy blog sites
Christmas is here again! and I seem to have no time to fit everything in but at least I did manage to get some Christmas shopping done today and made a card for my stepson's girlfriend. Still have not managed to get the other cards done though, but tomorrows another day and I will see what I can manage in between getting the house ready for visitors who are arriving from the UK.

Cards, Tip for today.
Cards and tip for today!
Try making your own embellishments with beads, crystals and ribbons or making your own flowers out of felt, they'll make your cards very unique.
This card I made last night for a competition named birthday and I came runner up, wow I was so exited as this was my first ever win, even though I only came runner up I was still very pleased. I seem to be getting more confident now with card making and trying things I never
would before
The second card I made tonight which I have 20 to do for hubby's work colleagues, I think I'd better get a move on lol.

Christmas Tree, Tips, Blog Candy Sites
Tip for today is: If you have no glue to stick glitter use glue dots, I did this for the card I made today as I mislaid my glue.
A card I made tonight.
I used a piece of olive green leaf paper and ran it through the cuttlebug using the Christmas tree design.
I mislaid my glue so I used glue dots on the raised design and sprinkled with white glitter adding a very pale green star to the top of the tree.
I added a strip of ribbon then attached the bow and used double-sided tape to attach the whole design to the card. This was simple, quick and I think very affective.

Tips on Wooden and Unmounted Stamps, Blog Candy Site and Christmas Card
Today I have some tips on wooden and unmounted stamps, a card for a friend for Christmas and a blog candy site, but first congratulation to Linda and Billy on their recent 25th anniversary and Linda's birthday yesterday, which I might add she kept very quiet humm. Pop alone and see Linda,s blog and see the great cards she has created.
Now for the tips.
Do not leave your rubber stamps in direct sun light or near a heat source as this will damage the rubber.
Do not store wood mounted stamps onto of each other as this will damage them.
Always clean stamps before putting them away cheapest way is soap and water.
A great way to store wood mounted stamps is in a fishing tackle box or similar.
Use CD cases to store unmounted stamps, stamp the images on plain white paper and slip into the cover of the sleeve for easy identification, store in a clear box or cd rack with the label printed on the side ie Christmas, birthday, flowers etc.
Another way, and the one I use is a ring binder and put the stamps on the laminated card, stamping them first onto plain white card and slide both pieces in the page protector, easy to flick through and find the stamp you want plus takes up little room.

Peel-off Tips Card and Scrapbook
Hello everyone,
I have just started this blog and I seem to have so much to post, so you will be seeing a lot in the same day, to start with I have two tips for you both using peel-off stickers.
1.Use low tack masking tape over peel off sheets to lift the wording, in order to apply it in a straight line on your card or scrapbook page.
2.Peel-off stickers make great stencils for your project’s, lay the sticker down gently onto the card or paper, but do not press too hard as this will permanently fix your sticker down. To make it less sticky just dab it on your clothes, Gently apply craft chalk and when finished carefully lift the sticker and you will be left with the image of your peel-off. This is especially useful for designing your own background papers or decorating card blanks and scrapbook pages. The same sticker can be used several times before it is no longer sticky.
Hope this is use full to you, and remember if you have any tips feel free to share with us all .
