Wedding Card

Good Morning all, feeling happy today as Brian arrived back home last night from London safe and sound and feeling quiet good, so very pleased at that. I could not wait to unpack his case as I had my new Promarkers I ordered in there, so yummy, I did make him a cuppa first lol.

Onto my card that I created last night, my friend rang me up and asked if I could createa card before I went to Cyprus, actually she wanted two cards making but I have not finished the other one yet, wow not much time as I go to Cyprus on Thursday morning, this card had to be for an older couple who are tying the knot and both have a scene of humour so I came up with this, I hope she likes it.

The image is from Bugaboo I love there images, so funny and because it a digital image I can enter into Stamp Something challenge, I coloured it with Promarkers and have entitled their challenge which is best friends and Karber challenge is use a digi and the theme of love.

Pastel Christmas Card

Hi All

Today I have a Pastel Christmas Card to show you, it took me ages to make as I kept misplacing my glasses lol I have 3 pairs and at one time could not find a single pair so I gave up and went and made a cuppa and had bisquets as the guy on the Fox;s advert says. Wow and behold I found the glasses, a pair stuck on my silicon glue a pair out side, god know what I was doing out there, still looking for the others lol.
Anyway back to my card I made it for the LOTV challenge which this week they want to see Winter Fun well my guy had fun he went shopping, ok he’s in Pink but some guys wear Pink! and shopping is always fun, I hasten to add not grocery shopping.

Promarkers wanted to see Pink and White and I think this fits ok I can also enter TotallyPaper Crafts challenge as I have a number on my card as you can see it is on the sentiment, these are made by Lynne from Sentiments 4 You

Halloween

Are you getting spooked yet with Halloween coming up!! I hope my grandkids will be with this card I made them, especially delivered by granddad too, (it will be hidden till the spooky day arrives) Brian has to go to the UK for his treatment on Wednesday and they have no idea he will be there when they get home from school, so a big surprise for them.

The images and tickets are from Whimsy, don’t you just love this little girl or should I say witch ! and the cauldron pot with glitter bubbling away, something brewing I think lol.

Male Easel Card

Male easel card for you today and I have to say I do find male cards a bit challenging but with this LOTV image (yes another LOTV image lol) I found this one quiet ease to make for a change, I have several brothers who go fishing so I am sure this one will come in handy.

The green paper is from Basic Grey and the brown diamond is from my scrap box, lucky for me it happen to have the name on which is a good thing as I could not remember using this before lol, its from All My Memories.

The ticket comes from a new web site I found recently called Sentiments 4 You and the talented Lynne makes these and a great selection of other digital sentiments to download as well, this one is a freebie, she also has a blog candy going on at the moment.

Christmas with LOTV

Hi All
Today for a change we went for lunch to Trader Vic’s as him in doors fancied sitting in nice surroundings near the sea, so I am writing this under the influence of Pina Colada’s and boy were they good and Brian even managed a beer and the food was delish too, perfect day.

Good job I finished the card this morning or it might have ended up a little wobbly a bit like me really lol.



LOTV don’t you just love these images? I know I do and this one is especially a favourite of mine, I knew I had to have this one as soon as it was brought out. I gave her lots of stickles, glossy accents and gel pen, plus distressed the paper with a bit of Timmy. I also got to use some of my new stash I brought back from the UK, ribbon, flowers, bling, charm and pin, so delish and just perfect for Christmas.

Wedding Pictures and Challenges

Hi Everyone I have had a full week of getting the house in order and the usual boring things of doing when one gets back from away ie grocery shopping, cleaning and so forth and I am back to being in my craft room and ready for some challenges.

First I would like to congratulate Papertake Weekly Challenge on being NUMBER ONE in the Crafting Blogs Wooohoooo how fab is that and well deserved, as there challenges are fantastic and very varied.

It also happens to be their 3rd birthday and they are holding a blog hop, go check that out and see what’s its all about. Their challenge for this occasion is to pick a favourite challenge from the last 3 years, now that’s a challenge as their are lots of my favourites in there.

I decided to go with Thank You from December 2009 challenge as I have lots of Thank You cards to make. I used a nessty to cut the image out and embossed round the edges, the flowers on her headband and dress I used a glitter copic pen the rest was coloured with Promarkers, flowers were glittered with Stickles, they are pale purple but they look black so do the gems in the corners and the bottom they are from Prima and the Punch is a MS.

It's good to be back

Hi everyone I hope all is well with you all and it's good to be back in blog land again.

I am now back home after my travels in the UK, first my news, Brain and I went to see the specialist and we got good news (about time too) his cancer has stabilized for the time being that’s really good news that we needed, he still has to have therapy but it seems to be working this time and if all goes ok he does not have to see him again until next year.

He will be monitored here in Bahrain for any changes, so darn happy things have finally changed direction and fingers crossed it stays that way, all we have to do now is get some weight on him as he lost 23 kilos, so out come the yummy cakes.

Our son’s wedding went great and I will post some pictures later, we all had a good time and to see all the family and friends again was fantastic, oh plenty of bubbly too.

I did lots of shopping with my friend who we stay with and she even took me to the Ally Pally for the craft fair, ohh spent far too much there but it was so tempting so I gave into my temptation, as you do, now this does not take a lot for me to give in lol I have the will power of a jelly fish as DH would say, all I can say is good job we had a good baggage allowance :-) 80 kilo all together and I had 79 of it lol, I so loved that day.

More of my antics later in the week so now onto my card, I have been making cards for a Breast Cancer coffee morning that my friend is holding on Sunday
and this is one of them using my new stamp from LOTV and coloured with promarkers my new best friends.

The inside I have used a new MS punch, love this punch.
