Our Circle of Friends hop is to show our dear friend Annika Ryan that her Whimsy Family is here for her during this difficult time. Everyone needs a circle of friends, and sometimes, during those hard moments, you need to be placed in the center of that circle and be given a big group hug.  Though we may be miles away, our hearts are with her along with our support.

I used a Meljen image for my card, which I shall be sending to Annika with my love, you can also get this image from the Whimsy store in the Meljen section.

Card for a friend

Today I have a card to show you thats for a friends Birthday, I followed the theme from Catch the Bug which is Show us your Winter Whites, as you might of guessed my card is mostly white with added Pink, I entered the challenge over at Do It With Digis, Pink and Girly and Creative Inspirations which is Celebrate.

I spritz everything with shimmer mist and coloured the image with shimmer paint and so found it very difficult to take the picture because of the reflection but love the nice shimmer it gave.

The sentiment is by Lynne from Sentiments 4 You and the flowers from Wild Orchid, alas I am afraid to say this was the last of my lace that I got from the UK, I was holding on to it lol but my friend is worth it, so I put it on the card before I changed my mind, finished with a pin and pearls.

LOTV Card

Good Evening all I hope you all had a good day, I only managed to get one card done this morning as I spent rest of the day with hubby, we went to get him some new clothes, as he’s lost so much weight now, he looks so tiny in his clothes, great success and we ended up with rather nice things for him, now I have a trendy hubby lol, not that he wasn’t before lol. Well you know me I just had to have a sneak peek at the clothes as well lol

So onto my card, I am now onto the love theme and I used the sketch from LOTV and used their image as well, it’s so romantic this image and says love to me straight away, all I added to this beautiful paper is lace, pearls and some pink shimmer stones.

Also so today I wanted to show my first creation into Jewel making, I started a course 2 weeks ago and this is my creation, I love it and just my colour too, it has swarovski crystals, water pearls, amethyst, other beads and stones and silver charms in it.

Two Cards Today

Hi All
I have another two cards to show you today and they are both for the Bugaboo Birthday Celebrations I followed their sketch as required for the Wedensday challenge, also they are for commision cards I am doing.

Love this image and I have just realised I have done blue and green and my mom would say ... blue and green should never be seen, too late mom!! but she will not see it at she never reads my blog, hey I don't think she know what a computer is, awe bless her.

The second is the dreaded male card, I am not very good at male cards, this is for the Thursdays Birthday theme at Bugaboo challenge.

No inside on this one, as I need 10 blank cards for the order, I missed doing the insides, but I do get the cards done a lot quicker lol.

Two Cards Today

Hi all

The cards I have to show you this week are all commission card, so today I have two cards to show you, the first has no sentiment on it yet as I have to do a few sentiments so the person can pick one, as this is for her daughter I merge two images together as she wanted mother and daughter on the same card and this is the only thing I could think of, I hope she approves or I will have to start from scratch.

The second is for a collection of commission cards that I am doing, I lucky enough to get a commission for 20 cards, 10 mixed and 10 Valentines, I am also entering this one into the Bugaboo Birthday Celebrations.

Bugaboo Challenge and Really Reasonable Ribbon

Hi all today I have a Valentine card to show you, the image is from Meljens Designs and you can find this at Whimsy Stamps, it is pre-coloured, which is great for a quick card, the papers are Bo Bunny and I just added bling and doily to finish. The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps too and is by Raindrop Echo Designs and is called Love Short Sayings.

I always have trouble doing Valentines for men but my girlfriend loved this one, so I am quite happy with it, even though it’s not a me card, I like my bling and flowers etc. lol.

I have had trouble with the internet for the past couple of days, I have been able to get to your pages but unable to comment so I hope that is sorted now, I feel quiet tired today, Brian had his treatment on Friday and we have not slept for two nights, as he has been a bit unwell, so I might have a little snooze this afternoon and pop by tonight to see you all.

Incy Wincy and Woopsie Daisy DT Cards

Good Morning all I hope blogger is going to be nice to me today and upload my cards, I have to go out this morning and I have no idea what time I will be back.

Onto my DT cards for today and we have new challenge over at Incy Wincy and Woopsie Daisy, thank you to all who participated last week’s challenge we love looking at your creations.

Over at Incy Wincy the challenge this week is Going Dotty and we are sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps  the prize is 7 digis  - USE DOTS on your creation.

For my card I used this beautiful shoe, perfect for the dot challenge, I used cuttlebug embossing folder with swirls and MS Punch and rounded the corners, finishing with pearls and flowers.

Woopsie Daisy challenge is NO DP Paper and boy was this a hard thing to do, as you know I love my papers, I used Timmy ink on all the papers and embossed two of them with dots and swirls.

Card made with Sentiments from Whimsy Stamps

Hi all tonight I want to share with you some new sentiments created by Raindrop Echo Designs for Whimsy Stamps. The first is called Dressed Up Shapes Set 4 - Love and used it as a focal point on my love card.

I also changed the colour from black and merged the sentiment You Make Cloudy Days (this sentiment comes from the collection called Love Sentiment) into the center and recolored to match.

 Anne from Raindrop Echo Designs has a two tutorials on how to recolour and merging images, you can find them HERE, thank you for this Ann.

The inside I used the same Dressed Up Shape but with another of Ann’s sentiments from the collection called Love Sentiment.

Whimsy Blog Hop and New Releases

Hi Everyone and welcome to Whimsy Blog Hop and January Digi Release your in for a great treat as we have lots of new images to share with you today, created by Crissy, Ann, and also Meljen's Designs collection.

For my card today I have used Meljens image called Johnny Bird Boots and Ann's sentiment, Love IS Tweet, I love all the designs and it was so hard to choose which one to use as they are all beautiful.

The inside to match  I used two Meljens design, the frame called Stamped With Love and then merged the image Tweet Heart Birds on the top and bottom of the frame and I then merged Anns Love Sentiment into the middle, I did a lot of merging lol. I left the other frame blank to add a personal message.

Digistamps4joy DT Card

Good Morning everyone and today is my first DT card for Digistamp4joy and I am so thrilled to be a part of this team. The theme for this challenge is buttons, a nice easy one to get us into the flow after the Christmas and New Year festivities don’t you think?

I used the image called Sammy Jo, now isn’t she a cutie and you can find her here, I coloured her with Pro Markers and the lilac and green spotty paper is Basic Grey  and the brown Bo Bunny, the sentiment is from Sentiments4you by Lynne, the buttons, lace and doily is from my stash. I added a bit of bling for her buttons on her dress and finished with pearls and flowers, flowers from Wild Orchid.

I did the inside to match with M/S punch to match the front and the sentiment is from Incadinkado.
