Challenges
Good Afternoon All
Wow! it is so hot here you can hardly breath when you go outside, it’s the hottest that I have known in a long time, it must be at least 53c with humidity high and sticky with it.
Today I have another commission card to show you, this one is being sent to the UK for a friend’s friend, I have a new image from Bugaboo I was waiting to get coloured up and this was perfect for what see wanted , as we all like to shop don’t we hehehe.
I coloured her with Copic and the papers are from Lasting Impressions, the big pink flower was a gift from a friend and the brad is from Hobby House, also used is a M/S punch with flowers from W/O, ribbon, corner piece and pearls from my stash.
Inside
Challenges I have entered
Catch The Bug - Metals add a brad or eyelet
Colour Create - Pink Green White
Allsorts - Free and Easy
Anything Goes - Flowers
I have been in my craft room for the past two days, all day, as hubby had his treatment this week and has not been feeling too well and gets very tired so I like to keep the house quiet as possible so no Rod Stewart blaring out or cleaning for me, quiet like the no cleaning bit.
He’s resting again this afternoon so I get to go back in my craft room again, all things being good he should be feeling more like his old self by the weekend.
Now people who know me, know I do not go into detail about my hubby’s condition very much but I do chat about it quiet often and skirt round the edges but I have had a few people asking me about my hubby’s cancer and the treatment he is on.
I find it very difficult to explain because it is so complicated so I will tell you the cancer and the treatment and you can read about it yourself and I hope this will help you in some way.
The treatment he has is called Lanreotide which is for Carcinoid Syndrome Cancer with Metastasis to the Liver, there is lots of information on the net as it is very difficult and complicated for me to explain and this post would end up a mile long.
I will say when you go for your health checks make sure they take your colon and intestine into consideration as my hubby was diagnosed with something else for years and this was not the case, this was not their fault as this cancer is very hard to detect but it is better to get every check done that is possible.
On a happier note (we always try to stay happy and positive in this family) I have just got an order for 10 Christmas cards by Sunday as this person is leaving the island and wants to take the cards with her. Sunday I said its Thursday today so I’d better get my skates on.
Thanks for popping round today I do appreciate it and all your comments, have a great day all.

Christmas cards for this week
Hi All
These are my last Christmas cards for this week at Catch the Bug Challenge, I have had a full week of Christmas and challenges and now the fun over there is comming to an end, awe but I hope to do at least one a week now I have got in the mood.
The card I am going to show you should have been posted yesterday but I was feeling a little unwell.
This is for the Thursday Challenge over at Catch the Bug and the theme was Snow Business and this is what I came up with.
The papers are Bo Bunny and I glitter all the edges, I just love the dotty paper, the image is coloured with Copic and snow flakes have been glitter too.
The challenge for today at Catch the Bug is Anything Goes and this is my little effort for today.
The papers are Bo Bunny again and I added bling to the corners, the image is coloured with Copic and a sentiment to finish.
Quick post today as I have to start dinner but I will be round to see you all later, thanks for popping in to see me and have a great day all.

Sunday's with Chrissy DT Call
Good Afternoon all, are we all in a crafting mood today? I know I am and got straight to work this morning creating this card, I would really love to be on Chrissy DT over at Sundays with Chrissy and created another card using one of her fab images called Nose to Nose, this has to be one of my favourites and have used it quite a lot in recent months.
I usually colour the image first then pick the paper but this morning I drop a load of paper on the floor and this blue and yellow was on the top and it grabbed my attention straight way, I like it when things just flow together and the inspiration just hits you.
I coloured her with copic and the papers are from Bo Bunny which I inked with mustard seed from Timmy, punch is M/S lace, sentiment is computer generated, flowers from Wild Orchid, and the lace, pin, ribbon and bling swirls are from my stash.
I also did the inside to match but forgot to take the picture but you all know how I like to do the insides as well, so you will have to use your imagination on this one lol.
Challenges I have entered:
Cute card Thursday – Lace
Charisma Card – Flowers
Try it on Tuesday – Flower Power
Just to remind you ladies that Chrissy from Sundays with Chrissy is holding a DT call if you are interested, just click on the picture or the written link to take you there.
This is the third time I have attempted to post this card my internet keeps going down, we had the guys round to sort it this morning and lo and behold it is still going on and off so hubby’s on the phone again agggggg driving me nuts.
Well that’s all for today and I shall see you all later, it’s good to see you and I do appreciate the time you take to pop over and see me.
