Shabby Chic Flowers

Hi Everyone


Been a busy week with commision cards and classes so today I had a relax day and made some Shabby Chic flowers out of scraps of lace and quilting material also some jewellery bits out of my stash, this is my first attempt at these flowers and butterfly and I am quiet happy with the result, oh except the butterfly.

I so enjoyed making these and some will end up on my altered canvas I am working on but my mojo has gone so the canvas is just laid on my table for now but I do have a few ideas buzzing about in this head of mine lol.

I also had a go at a butterfly but it needs a bit more refining before I am happy with it.

 I hope you enjoyed looking at these as much as I enjoyed making them.

 Brian is in the UK for some treatment at the moment so I shall be going back in my craft room later, he's been away all week and its very quiet without him, yahhh he's back tomorrow.

Butterfly Creations

Hi Everyone

Copic butterfly for you today which I really enjoyed colouring, I coloured two so I could decoupaged it. I wanted to keep it simple with not a lot going on with the papers and embelishments.

 This is for a copic class I am doing tomorrow so I do hope they like the challenge.

Copic Card

Hi All

Today I have a copic card to show you, this is just one of the cards that I teach in class, ohhh that reminds me I have another six samples to do for Saturday ekkkkk.

The stamp is from La La Land, I used copic paper and stamped with memento ink, the clock face in from Tim Holtz and papers are from a pad and I cannot remember the name of it, sorry, flowers are W/O and the pearls are from my stash.

I am still feeling bad so that is why I have not been blogging I just cannot get rid of this cold and I now look like Rudolph and my cough has got worse, I just might take a trip to the docs but I hate going with just a cold (not that I want anything else lol) but I feel a bit of a twit going with a cold.

But hey ho tomorrows another day and I hope to feel much better, being saying that for weeks now ekkk.

Something Different

Beaded Bracelet

Good Afternoon all, well I still have my cold but on the good side my cough has gone yehhh.

Today I have something different to show you a bracelet I have been working on, I must have at least six on the go at the same time ekkkk thats when I have the time, between card making, quilting, beading,classes I teach and seeing Brian is ok, they all take up a lot of my time but it is now finished phew.

I am glad I got it finished as I wanted to enter the new Beading challenge blog that started this week called  Beading Friends Forever.

 It is a monthly challenge blog for all types of beaders and jewellery makers, there is two different parts to their monthly challenge - a tutorial/pattern and also a theme.

The theme for this month is Anything Goes

It has Schwarzkopf crystals in Black with silver seed beads and silver clasp with diamante's set in.

 

Hope you like it and I did wear it the other night when we went out for a meal and got an order for one whoooo, need another day in the week me thinks.

My new Magnolia Stamp

Hi all, 

Today I want to show you one of my new Magnolia stamp I got for Christmas, so lucky I got ten new ones from my hubby so you will be seeing a lot of them.

 

I coloured her with Copic, flourish and leafs die are from La La Land, flowers from my stash and the centers have diamante's in them, pearls from Mel Flowers and the butterfly die is Cherry Lynn, paper is My Memories and inked with Antique Rose distress ink, the flourish has been embossed with a mixture of shabby pink embossing enamel and rose colored fragments from Tim Holtz, the leafs have had the same treatment but in green.

This card was made for a friends B/D which we celebrated this week with the girls and we went for a nice Italian meal, it was so yummy too. I feel very privileged as she frames my cards and keeps them on her wall wow.

I have still got my cough and cannot seem to shift it and now to top it all I have another cold I caught from my friend, it seems to be going round, so I cannot go to near Brian as I do not want him to catch it he has enough to cope with at the moment. They say feed a cold so chocolate has been on the menu lol.
