Cute Daisy May,Stamp for the Weekend, Charisma Cards

Good Morning ladies
I had a little visit to the craft shop yesterday to have tea and cakes with a friend before she goes on her visit to the UK, lucky thing I wish I was going too but I will have to wait till Christmas, everyone say awe. Thank you. Anyway while I was there I had a little shop as they have just had a delivery of EK punch’s and just had to buy a couple as you do lol so will be having a play with those this week also had a delivery of some new Nessties so I will be experimenting with the new flower ones too, anyone got ideas for these please let me know or any tutorials going about as I know you ladies find all sorts of things when surfing of the Internet.


So on to my DT spot for this week with Cute Daisy May and the theme is As you Like It, its your choice. I decided to do a pocket card as I wanted to enter Stamp for the Weekend Challenge as I have not entered this challenge for ages.
I used sheet 35 of Daisy design and I just love this fairy image, I also entered it into Charisma Cards as you could use any theme you wanted.

Just a quick post tonight and I will be posting something tomorrow as I have finally found some spare time to create, but it’s not quiet finished yet, you know those last minute touches :-)
So onto my post well I won two blog Candy’s wow yes two, I can hardly believe it myself.

The first was from Domi at Mephisto’s blog she does some wonderful designs, Domi was giving away a stamp set and it was all to do with Simon Say’s Stamp and their Birthday Celebrations which I took part in and won the stamp set called Relax Vacation.

The second one was from Steph at It’s all About Craft and she does some beautiful work, Steph was offering a stamp set to do with Elzybells blog

birthday celebrations.







Both stamp sets are beautiful and I can not wait to use them, thank you to both ladies.

Daisy May and Cute Card Thursday

Good morning ladies and what a morning it is here the sun is shining a bit humid but never mind, the dust has gone and it’s nice to go out again after the shamal.

I have a request to ask of you kind ladies has anyone got an image of a pig you can email me as my grandson would like a pig on his Birthday card and I have everything but a pig lol. Why a pig you ask! Well in Cyprus to keep him amused I made up this story about Mr Piggy Wiggy and his family so every afternoon I would add a bit more to the story and he loved it, so much so once a week I email his dad with a bit more of the story to tell him.

Now I can tell you sometimes its really hard to think of things lol as he remembers so I have to be careful not to repeat myself, I should really write them down but never got round to it, these stories just pop in my head now and then, geez am I normal as I think of the weirdest things haha, ok enough of that.

On to my DT spot for Cute Daisy May and this week’s theme is to have animals on your card, I used sheet 26 from Daisy designs, but you don’t have to use the Daisy images just pick one of your own. I chose the colour Orange and Brown for a change and did tags which I shall be giving to my grandson to put on presents for his friends. I also entered it into Cute Card Thursday

and they want to see you use a tag so these should fit nicely I think.

Just Magnolia

Good afternoon ladies, are you having a good day? here it hot, humid and very dusty again, so no doubt I will have half the desert in my house again agggg, a good excuse not to do the dusting lol.

Today I want to show you my very first altered item, I did this for a friends Birthday and I am going to fill it with Body Shop goodies that she likes, I am also entering it in to Just magnolia Challenge.

It started out as a plain green box I had knocking around and covered the base in stripie paper and covered each join with chocolate brown ribbon to hide the joins, then added lace to trim.

I did the same for the inside but used a spotty paer to coordinate with the strips.

The inside of the lid I used the same papers, lace and ribbons as the inside.

The lid I decorated with a Magnolis stamped image which was coloured with Copic and Sakura gell pen.

The papers are Bo Bunny and the ribbon, lace and pin are from down the souk, the flowers are from my stash.

I have to say I am quiet pleased with the results even though it took me 3 days to complete but I did enjoy the challenge and I will definitely to another one. Hope you like it.

Good afternoon ladies.
Just had a nice gossip, coffee and cake with one of my friends, its so good to catch up with friends and now I feel fat lol, too much cake, I shall end up looking like backend of a bus if I keep eating all this cake heheh

On to my DT spot for Cute Daisy May and this week’s theme is to have a circle on your card card, I used sheet 24 from Daisy designs, but you don’t have to use the Daisy images just pick one of your own. I chose the colour Lilac! Well that’s no surprise, as it happens to be one of my favourite colours.

I have also entered it into Stamp for the Weekend challenge and this week’s theme is you have to use a digital image. So lets see all those circles girls and have a go at the challenge, if you win you will get a download of your choice from Linnie and a blinki for your blog.

4 Challenges in one

Hi Ladies and any Gents out there.
Today I have done absolutely nothing in the house or studied but had a day of card making and decided to combine challenges for a change, so here’s the list.

I followed the sketch from Stamp Something.








Penny Black is having a 1st Birthday Party celebration, the Design Team has put together there own 'Surprise Birthday Candy' too and they invite us all to participate, just use a Penny Black image or sentiment.


The next is Pile It On and you have to use two different ribbons and combine it with other challenges.


Incy Wincy theme this week is cats so this fit the bill too.

I hope you like the Birthday Cat.
This is the first time I have ever combined so many challenges and it was a lot of fun so I shall have a go at this again.

The inside was a bit hard to take a picture of as it opens upwards but I think you can see it ok.

Pile It ON and ABC Challenges

Good afternoon ladies
I won the Incy Wincy challenge last week and received from Greg two beautiful Ingar Harding images and a blinki for my blog, look forward to creating something with them soon.

Also this week my new Copic pens came I had a little spend and ordered 25 new ones, sooo happy and now I have lighter colours to use too.

Yesterday I finally got round to making a card for a Pile It On a new challenge blog, you must check this out as it a challenge blog where you can combine all your challenges into one,theme this week is to use a non stamp sentiment and combine it with other challenges you want. The tags I used on this card I got free with a magazine and the sentiment is made on the computer and I combined it with ABC challenge, which is roses.

Still living

Hi everyone
Just a quick post to let you all know I am still in the land of the living but I have been a bit busy and I have had no time to make cards or even blog hop.
I found out this week one of my exam questions had been changed aaggggg so I have been hidden under books and research before I can even answer the darn thing and as the deadline is Thursday, panic sets in and screams at the computer are often heard lol.
I have to say I was loosing the will to live this morning untill my friend rang and said fancy lunch at the craft shop, well what can I say YES YES YES and even had a little spend she says smiling plus I managed to get half the question done when I came back so it goes to show a little lunch and spend does you good lol.

So its 1 in the morning now and decided to have a drink of Gin and Tonic and do a bit of blog hopping and do my other 500 words tommorow and then after its finished I shall be taking at least 2 days off study to make cards if I can remember how heheh.

Cute Daisy May and Saturday Challenge

Good afternoon ladies I just don’t know where the time had gone last week and I got so busy I did not have time to post or blog hop to see your creations but I will make up for it this week. I am onto my next exam and it takes a lot of my time up, well that’s when I get free time lol.

I am glad to say I passed the last one with a great score, I was a bit worried about it so I was very pleased. I do love it when I get descent scores as its worth all the hard work I put in and my blogging friends encourage me and give me really nice comments so that’s why I have decided to post now and again about my studies, enough of my ramblings and onto my DT spot for this week, also please look at the other DT creations, so beautiful, link on my side bar to their blogs.

Cute Daisy May and isn’t she looking great, this week’s theme is to have embossing on your card, I used sheet 25 from Daisy designs, but you don’t have to use the Daisy images just pick one of your own or you can purchase them from the digi shop, link on my side bar.

I used the embossing folder swirls and I love pink and turquoise together, the papers and border strip are K and Co and to the border strip I added little pink flowers, I have a jar full of these but I have no idea where they came from and in the centre I added a gems.
I used my cuttlebug for the flowers and used swiss dots folder on them plus inked the edges and added shakur gel to give them a bit of a shine finally added a rose to the centre and the pins and lace are from down the souk here.
So come on ladies lets see you emboss as I love looking at all the entries and you could win a download of your choice from Linnie.

I have also entered this card for Saturday Challenge which this week is Pink, Turquoise and a hint of Brown so I think this fits the bill and the DT creations are beautiful.

I shall be round later to see your creations as I am off now to make some scones as I bought some clotted cream this morning yummy and now I can not stop thinking of them with jam and some of that lovely cream lol.
