Challenges

 Good Afternoon All

Wow! it is so hot here you can hardly breath when you go outside, it’s the hottest that I have known in a long time, it must be at least 53c with humidity high and sticky with it.

Today I have another commission card to show you, this one is being sent to the UK for a friend’s friend, I have a new image from Bugaboo I was waiting to get coloured up and this was perfect for what see wanted , as we all like to shop don’t we hehehe.

I coloured her with Copic and the papers are from Lasting Impressions, the big pink flower was a gift from a friend and the brad is from Hobby House, also used is a M/S punch with flowers from W/O, ribbon, corner piece and pearls from my stash.

Challenges I have entered

Catch The Bug - Metals add a brad or eyelet

Colour Create - Pink Green White

Allsorts - Free and Easy

Anything Goes - Flowers

I have been in my craft room for the past two days, all day, as hubby had his treatment this week and has not been feeling too well and gets very tired so I like to keep the house quiet as possible so no Rod Stewart blaring out or cleaning for me, quiet like the no cleaning bit.

He’s resting again this afternoon so I get to go back in my craft room again, all things being good he should be feeling more like his old self by the weekend.

Now people who know me, know I do not go into detail about my hubby’s condition very much but I do chat about it quiet often and skirt round the edges but I have had a few people asking me about my hubby’s cancer and the treatment he is on.

I find it very difficult to explain because it is so complicated so I will tell you the cancer and the treatment and you can read about it yourself and I hope this will help you in some way.

The treatment he has is called Lanreotide which is for Carcinoid Syndrome Cancer with Metastasis to the Liver, there is lots of information on the net as it is very difficult and complicated for me to explain and this post would end up a mile long.

I will say when you go for your health checks make sure they take your colon and intestine into consideration as my hubby was diagnosed with something else for years and this was not the case, this was not their fault as this cancer is very hard to detect but it is better to get every check done that is possible.

On a happier note (we always try to stay happy and positive in this family) I have just got an order for 10 Christmas cards by Sunday as this person is leaving the island and wants to take the cards with her. Sunday I said its Thursday today so I’d better get my skates on.

Thanks for popping round today I do appreciate it and all your comments, have a great day all.
