New Challenge Catch the Bug

Hi Everyone

I hope you all had a good Christmas and Santa brought you some lovely goodies, he did me and I was totally spoilt, he sent me an extra present of chicken pox, YES at my age of over 21 lol, I came out in spots, so off I trotted to the docs and she said AT YOUR AGE  (what is this age thing lol) you have got a mild case of Chicken Pox.

I have to ask mum if I ever had this because of my understanding you do not get this twice, I did have bit of a fever but I am feeling a lot better now, so here I am with my card for the challenge over at Catch The Bug and this week we would love to see your creations based on the photo inspiration.

I made a loved themed ATC using the image called Decon Heart.

I hope the New Year brings Brian better health and the strength to keep fighting this terrible disease and to all my lovely friends I want to Wish you all the very best for the Coming Year and pray it’s a good one for you too.

New Challenge Catch the Bug

Good Afternoon all.

Merry Christmas to you all and I hope you all have a good one with your family and friends.

This Christmas Eve there is a new challenge over at Catch The Bug and this week we would love to see Red + Blue + Pink & Flower Soft, Fun Flock, Sparkle Fluff, or Glitter, I do hope you will be able to join us.

For my card I used Cupcake Ginger Bread image and coloured it with copic, I used glitter on the cake frosting, tree and snowflakes.

We have our friends from the UK here for Christmas and another three coming on Christmas day who live here, these friends are a god send to me and are very special to both of us, they have all been through the good and the bad times with us concerning Brian’s cancer, I could not manage without them, thank you seems such a little word but I do from the bottom of my heart.

To celebrate us all being together I shall cook and wait on them ohh we have pressie too, Brian was a little ill last week but is doing very well now, he looks great and is looking forward to Christmas Day.

New Challenge Catch the Bug

Hi Everyone

Are we in the Christmas mood yet? Hubby says if I play another White Christmas song he will scream so I have change to Celine Dion lol, the White Christmas song reminds me of my mum as she plays it all the time.

I was going Christmas shopping today but hubby had to take my car as the woman next door reversed out of her driveway and smashed into his car aggg I have no idea what she was doing but it did not go down well with Brian, it looks a right mess and it will need a new wing and a respray, she did half wack it, this afternoon he is going to hire a car as we both need one.


So onto my DT card for today and we have a new challenge over at Catch The Bug and the theme is

Baby, It’s Cold Outside

I made this pillow box for a friend to put some jewel making gems and findings in, she makes lovely jewellery and you can have enough gems in your stash can you.

I used the image called Poppixmas Snowballs and coloured it with Copic and Pencils, adding a wooden snowflake to finish.

Sundays With Crissy and Whimsy Inspirational Challenges

A very Good Morning to you all, are you all ready for Christmas? I know it’s a busy time for us all at this time of year and no exception for me as I try to fit everything in to my day, so I apologize now if I have not got round to your blog for a visit.

I did very well at the craft fair and the next day I was asked to take cards and gift tags to a coffee morning my friend was having, I was in production for tags that night as I had sold out the day before so all go for me, I did even better there and then realized I had sold my personal cards I had done for friends here, so now I am back in production for them lol and still have Christmas shopping to do aggggg

Onto my card for today, I have combined both my DT spots Sundays With Crissy and Whimsy Inspirational blog in one card so I apologize now to the ladies for this,  the image I am using is called Snowman and Penguins, it’s so so cute.

For my card I used Snowman Bells love these snowmen and my song inspiration is Frost The Snowman.
I coloured him with Copic and Prisma pencils and finished the image with glitter. 

The I used leafs as embellishment from M/S, snowflakes and glittered them,the papers Basic Grey inking the edges with broken chin distressing ink, I finished the card with ribbon and pearls again, as this is another commision card the sentiment is computer generated.

Whimsy Inspirational New Challenge

I am getting excited now as my friends arrive tomorrow and I still have lots to do so I will get onto my card for today and we see a new challenge over at Whimsy Inspirational.

Thursday my very good friends arrive from the UK and shall be staying for 2 months, so excited to have them here, they helped me a lot when Brian was in the cancer hospital, afterwards and still do, I do not know what I would do without them.


Brian is feeling a lot better now, I think it was just the meds again that upset him, as we say, take each day as it comes so have a good one all.

I am now running low on Christmas embellies as my shop has not got her order in aggg back to glittering snowflakes and trees lol.
