Good morning everyone, well our weekend is over here (we have Friday and Saturday weekend) and before I know it Thursday will be here and I will be flying off to Cyprus for a month and I still have nine more wedding cards to make for my friends shop, exam to finish agggg and more tomatoes to find a home for as they are all ripening at the same time, looks like tomato sauce is on the menu tomorrow.

My card for today is one of the wedding cards I made last night I just love the shimmer paper and the centre piece is a heart of roses with shimmer sequins and a bow, finely to finish a silver heart.
I also did the inside and a tag to match but forgot to take the picture and when I went to do this my battery has died on my camera, I hope you like it?.
Well that’s all for now as a busy day is calling and I still have to make a going away card for a friend who is leaving the island and going back to the UK, we are all going out for a meal tonight to say good bye so I better get my skates on lol.

Daisy May and glitter

Daisy May and glitter

Today has been a busy day picking tomatoes and bottling them, my huuby planted 49 tomatoes plants, he gets carried away sometimes lol, so we have tomatoes coming out of our ears as they say.

The taste is beautiful so for lunch I did grilled tomatoes with a poached egg on top then grilled slices of prosecute ham and put that on the top and drizzled with balsamic vinegar served with French bread yummy.

So to my card which is for a friends daughter, so I did Daisy May sitting on a Magnolia stamped Mushroom and the little dog is from the Daisy May collection, I think he’s so cute. I also entered it into ABC challenge which is glitter, I glittered the dog bows and gave Daisy a glitter slid for her hair and included a glitter brad for the flower, hope you like what you see. Hello, what a day today first the sun came out, so I put the cushions out thinking I might sit outside today and do a bit of studying, then the wind came up really strong and that means rain, yep it rained, so I put the cushions away, then the sun, so put the cushions back out, I bet you guessed by now, yep the rain again, so I gave up and rang my friend and we went for tea and scones yummy and the sun came back out lol.

This afternoon I had to make a male card again this time for my brother (I have 5) so I tried out a new stamp I bought (remember tea shop next door to the craft shop) today, which is a pocket watch, I had to have a few goes to get the hands correct, in fact quiet a few.
I also found this lovely verse to go inside the card too, which is apt for my brother who was always sliding down the banister (memories).
Verse Inside says

As you slide down
the banister of life,
may all the splinters
point in the right direction.

I am not really happy with the way I did the stamp and was thinking maybe I should cut it out and then mount it, might do that later as I still cannot decide, what do you think? now be honest, I can take it lol.

Hello all, my friend has left to go back to UK this morning so it was a very early rise today I missing her already L. Then a bit of shopping and on to my card for today, I managed to get my card done early for a change. This card is for my nieces birthday she loves Pink, takes after her Auntie lol. I have entered it into two challenges one from Cupcake Craft Challenge which was brown + 1 and ABC Challenge which was flowers so this fits nicely into both.
I do have a question for all you excellent creative people, what make of inkpad is best to use with Copice pens? I have mislaid or threw out by mistake the ink pad I was using I have bought a couple more but the pens are running over the ink, any help would be appreciated as I can not remember the name of the one I was using.

Hi everyone, Hope your all having a good day, as I am here, I went on a shopping trip again today as it’s the last few days of my friends stay and went out to buy last minute things with her, then off for lunch at La Chocolate and even took chocolate cakes home as we were too full after the first course to eat them, yummy.
So to the card I am back on the baby cards as I have to get them finished by 3 April as we go to Cyprus then, we are going for a month and shall have the grandchildren there as well, only for 2 weeks though.

Off to look at your creations now, oh by the way if you have been emailing me I am not ignoring you I cannot access my hotmail account and I have no idea why, I hope to get it sorted soon.

Button with mint green and pink card for Cute Daisy May

My creation for the Cute Daisy May challenge which is buttons.

Hello everyone, today there is a new challenge at Cute Daisy May and this week it is Buttons on your card so lets see your beautiful creations. You do not have purchase the Cute doodles to enter this challenge but I think you will be falling in love with them when you see them.

This week I chose pink and mint green for my creation; the paper on the background is Bo Bunny (I just love these papers) the image is from the Cute Daisy May collection which I coloured with my Copice then I use my mint green and pink inks and dabbled a bit on the background and smudged it lightly with a damp cotton wool ball and mounted it on black, green and pink card stock from my stash . The ribbons I got down the souk here and adhered it round the mounted image and the buttons are K and Co. I printed the saying on the computer using the Kristen font and mounted it on the same colour card stock, the end, well I hope you like this as much as I enjoyed making it. Challenge and Fairy Card

Hello to everyone, busy day today as I took my friend down the souk for a little shop before she goes back home on Saturday. The bling you see on the card I pick up for about £1.70 for a hundred pieces and the ribbon was 40p for 5 metres so I was a happy bunny and bought loads of colours in both, I shall be going to that little shop again in the souk as it’s a little treasure trove of goodies. The card is for my niece and the ribbon is actually lilac but looks a blue in this light, I also used two of my new Cuttlebug folders, Forest Branches and D'vine Swirl. The stamp is Inkadinkado which I love and I glittered the wings and stars which was ideal for the Cuttlebug Challenge this week which was glitter and of course your Cuttlebug. Finally I added a flower, which is three, layered up and added a sentiment hope you like it. Going on a blog read now and thank you for calling by I do appreciate it.

Good evening everyone and I hope your all having a good one, today I made a card for my DH as it is his Birthday on Friday. I do find men so hard to make cards for so when I found this decoupage car I knew it had to be this, as he used to have one (in his younger days, hope he does not read this lol). I also entered it into the Papertake Weekly Challenge Sketch, hope you like it.

This week the challenge at Cute Daisy May is to make a pink card.
You can use any image that you like but using Cute Daisy May downloads would be great if you have them.

The Inside

I use Copice pens, papers from K and Co, Bo Bunny flowers and brads and some bling from Kanban.
The little charm at the bottom was a brad come charm I found in the craft shop here, you just take the centre out to convert it to a charm, how cute is that and I add a gem in the middle. I also use Nestability labels 1 and the butterfly from my stash.
I have entered Stamp Something challenge with this card today, which was, you had to use your favourite something, my favourite something at the moment is green and pink papers (you just might be seeing a lot of theses lol ) and my new charms come brads.
I had to wait till today to enter as it is my design for the Cute Daisy May page.

Hello to everyone, I made this card for a friends Birthday and the stamp is Messy Rabbit. I have entered it into the Charisma Card Challenge with the theme of pretty and I think this fits it ok.

Magnolia Stamp and Challenges

Magnolia Stamp Giggling Tilda and two challenges in one.

Today I had a bit of free time so decided to enter two challenge with one card the first is the Cuttlebug Challenge which was to use water colours on your card, I water coloured Giggling Tilda for this challenge. The Pink Elephant Challenge 4 was to use Ribbon and Die Cuts and this is what I came up with.

I use K and Company new papers that had just been delivered to the shop, I just love these colours, Bo Bunny flowers and button. The gems I had in a bottle but can not remember the name of them, a bit of thread from DCM, Nestabilities label one and my new Magnolia Giggling Tilda stamp and of course my water colours, the bench was done with Copice and water. I also did the inside of the card this time as I had some die cuts left over and a flower cut from the paper, hope you like it.

No card today as my friend is back from South Africa to stay for another 3 weeks before she heads back to the UK and we just had to go shopping (as you do lol) Then had lunch is a little tea shop that is situated in the craft shop (very handy) and has she had just got a new shipment in I had to have a little spend there too :-) before word got out about new supplies in town.

Today its been raining all day and lots of thunder, nice for the garden as we dont get that much rain but the down side is we have lots of flooding and need a pair of wellies just to get to the car lol. On to todays card this is last of the baby girl cards for my friend at the card shop and as she likes clean and simple cards I came up with this.
