Male card
Hello, what a day today first the sun came out, so I put the cushions out thinking I might sit outside today and do a bit of studying, then the wind came up really strong and that means rain, yep it rained, so I put the cushions away, then the sun, so put the cushions back out, I bet you guessed by now, yep the rain again, so I gave up and rang my friend and we went for tea and scones yummy and the sun came back out lol.
This afternoon I had to make a male card again this time for my brother (I have 5) so I tried out a new stamp I bought (remember tea shop next door to the craft shop) today, which is a pocket watch, I had to have a few goes to get the hands correct, in fact quiet a few.
I also found this lovely verse to go inside the card too, which is apt for my brother who was always sliding down the banister (memories).
Verse Inside says
As you slide down
the banister of life,
may all the splinters
point in the right direction.
I am not really happy with the way I did the stamp and was thinking maybe I should cut it out and then mount it, might do that later as I still cannot decide, what do you think? now be honest, I can take it lol.
Well ladies and any gents who might be peeking at this thank you again for giving me your time and visiting me, going to have a blog hop now so do enjoy your day or even night wherever you may be.
Inside with verse and saying stamp.
