Stamping Chick and Incy Wincy Challenges

Good afternoon ladies and gents, hope your all having a good day, my day started with a parcel but not the crafting kind I might add but my next lot of study materials for the second half. Well I took one look at the endless books and dvd’s I have to get my brain round that I decided to file them under Will Look Tomorrow lol.

I decided to have a craft morning instead and went with a theme from Stamping Chick, which is Blue and Brown, and Incy Wincy which is, you must have a present on your card so this card fits both challenges.

I used Shabby Princess papers, Bo Bunny ribbon and gems, the images are from Clare Curds Signature Range, the sentiment is from my new Whiff of Joy Summer Collection and I coloured them with a mixture of Copic pens and watercolours.

The Inside I used a Sakura gel pen on the presents and finally layered each section up, I was quiet pleased with the result what do you think?

Much better than looking at books that will most probably do my head in lol, I shall have that pleasure tomorrow, that’s all for now my lovelies and off to do some blog hopping before dinner needs preparing.

Cute Daisy May

Hi Ladies, I went down to the craft shop today as I bought a flower punch yesterday and darn thing will not work aggg but they did not have another one so I will just have to wait and hope they get some in. While I was there I bought some yummy cakes from next door as I write this I realize I'v left them in the shop ohh not my day today

On to my DT spot for Cute Daisy May and this week’s theme is to make a Monotone card, I used sheet 24 from Daisy designs, but you don’t have to use the Daisy images just pick one of your own. I choose the colour Pink! well that’s no surprise as it happens to be one of my favourite colours. Hope you like it and the guest designer spot is still open so don’t forget to get those entries posted.

Thought I share with you this photo editor called Photo Scape and I must say I love it and its got all these jazzy things you can do with it, but I am still in the experimental stage at the moment lol, I would almost certainly be able to do more with it, but its finding the time.

DT Call and Candy

Delightful day to day as I had a delivery, my new Whiff of Joy stamps whooo so beautiful and can not wait to get them inked up, oh and the usual comment from hubby, you know the one, what do you want them for lol.


On to my card, I have used the sketch from Nutshells and their image, isn’t she a beauty.
I have used K and Co papers, oh the purple is from a stack of recycled paper (new in the craft shop) which I put through the Cuttlebug with swiss dots embossing folder. The green flowers, leaves and gems are Bo Bunny and the flowers I did in the Cuttlebug, sandpapered the edges and moulded them to give a bit of texture, font on the computer.

I left the inside blank again for now, till I make up my mind who it is for.

Nutshells have a DT call, all you have to do is follow the sketch, created by Nikki and download their free image to use as simple as that, so why not try your hand ladies.

Whiff of Joy image

Hi everyone,
Today has been a quiet day for me as I was studying but I did manage to take time out to get a challenge done for Cupcake Craft Challenge. I used a Whiff of Joy image and coloured her with water colour pencils, actually this is the second image I coloured, as I had just finished the first one and spilt water on it aggg don’t you just hate it when that happens.
The papers are from K and Co, I love the colours of this paper, on the right side is a border strip I cut in half and threaded ribbon through the holes and tied a bow in the middle, the strip on the left is from Bo Bunny.
The flowers I did in the Cuttlebug, sandpapered the edges and moulded them to give a bit of texture, the gems and pin are from down the souk here and the sentiment is a stamp but I cannot remember the name of it.






I am showing you the inside, so you can see the beautiful colours in the paper and I left the inside blank for now till I make up my mind who it is for.

Using a new stamp

New stamp

Hi Ladies I am a bit late posting today, as I was busy making tomato chutney and sauce with hubby and it took longer than we thought, we had a glut of tomatoes and we needed to do something with them so hence a busy night for us.

Yesterday I received a little parcel from my friend and included was Clare Curds Signature range of stamps, now isn’t she beautiful and just what I was looking for and could not wait to share with you all.

I inked her up and could not wait to get started, I coloured her using my Copice (must get some paler colours) and I use sakura gel on the envelope and present bag to do the flowers. Bo Bunny papers which I sanded the edges, flowers Bo Bunny and the gems and pin from down the souk here also I stamped the message but can not remember where I got the stamp (age thing lol)
The inside present I used a sakura glaze on the dots and the left side blank as I want to put a personal message on there.

On the day I received these stamps I look Clare up on the net as I had never heard of her (sorry) and found she had a blog called Clare Curds Signature Range, Stamping Chick and a challenge one at that so I have entered this card.

Good Afternoon Ladies
Well busy day today, as I was up very early too take two doggies for a walk as my friend has gone away for a few days, then had a play in the garden with the dogs or should I say I had a play as they just sat a watched me, I am sure they were thinking, ok Linda’s lost it lol.

On to my card I made this morning, its for the Whiff of Joy Challenge and you had to make a friendship card which was great as I was making one for my friend in the UK to send her, along with some crafting goodies. All the things you see on the card are from K and Co except the image of course which is WFJ and I cannot wait till my Summer stamp kit comes ohhh.

I used Stickles on the wings, cakes and flowers, the lace bit from my stash and a distressing ink is Pink/Brown around the image, I also sand papered round the pink card.

I did the inside too with matching papers and a flower punch.

The reason I use Bo Bunny, Shabby Princess and K and Co a lot is these are the makes we get in our 1 craft shop, I am hoping she will get something different soon (not complaining really) I just like a change now and then.
Time to go as hubby will be in soon and I am doing afternoon tea yummy, thanks for popping in and I shall be round your blogs later.

Good Evening Ladies and any Gents that have popped over.

I’ve been in one of my favourite shops today, the candle shop and the smells are magnificent, so I just had to have a little purchase of some candles and another container, the only thing was hubby was with me so I had to limit myself but there was so many smells to choose from, so in the end I got Vanilla my old time favourite.

At least he did not ask again what I want those for? I think he learned his lesson from last time he ask me that question. It was in Marks and Spencers (UK brand clothes shop) I was buying knickers and he ask me what I wanted them for (in another words you have enough) so I looked at him and said I was going to put them on my head and walk round the shop, what do you think I want them for. lol he was so stunned he just fell about laughing, so funny

So onto the card, today I was in a yellow and green mood and decided to do a Tilda image, isn’t she so cute and love those wellies and that ladybird is adorable, I also did the inside of the card.

I entered it into Papertake Weekly Challenge and you had to add an animal somewhere on your card so I think this fits with my ladybird.

Good Evening ladies,

I got to play with a new stamp tonight, this is one I bought for my brother’s if you remember I have five, and thought this was a good buy as it’s male and football ( no matter they will all get the same one lol) they all play, one is even a referee so he should like it. I also did it for Cupcake Craft Challenge, which this week you have to make a male card.

The papers for a change are Shappy Princess funny since it’s a male card lol and I raised the brown dotty paper with some sticky pads, then we are back to Bo Bunny! brads, ribbon and saying. I cut the image out and mounted it onto labels 1 Nestabilitie with some raised sticky pads, I also cut out another football to make it a 3D effect and coloured the stamp image with Copice pens, I did his hair orange as my brother has orange hair, hope he likes it.

Good morning ladies well I cannot believe it’s Monday already! Where does the time go?

I have managed to get my scrap room sorted at last (I can actually see my seat now lol) and my papers are put away in my new unit, she says with a big grin.

Since I started stamping my collection of stamps is growing, little by little I might add, and as someone said to me, once you start stamping you will become addicted and you were right Stef I am.

Now if only I could get them sorted in some sort of order and find a place to put and store them I would be a happy chappy oh and even more happier if I could get this darn exam finished aaggg.

Now onto my DT card for the Challenge on Cute Daisy May and this week is a sketch for you to follow.

I used sheet 22 and you can find this image here and many more, K and Co papers and distressed the edges, Bo Bunny flowers and brads, coloured with Copice, which I had trouble with this week as the yellow kept streaking aggg (one of those weeks).
The corners, I cannot remember ever buying them lol and found them in my stash and I used stickles on the flowers which does not show very well on this picture.

Card for a friend and a new unit

Good evening ladies and any gents lurking.

Don’t you just hate grocery shopping! Especially when you leave your list at home and you have to rely on the old grey cells, so needless to say I forgot half of it, maybe that could be because I went to the craft shop first to pick up my new unit which will hold my 12x12 papers and my wooden stamps, so pleased with it happy! happy! happy! and with a big smile on my face. The down side is I have to go grocery shopping again lol but I will try to avoid the craft shop ummmmmmmm ok ok I hear you, heres a picture of my new purchase.

On to my card for tonight, this is one I did for my good friend in the UK who sends me little parcels now and then of craft goodies, since she can not get Bo Bunny I send her little parcels too, today I got her some beautiful unmounted swirls stamps (I know she has been looking for these) and some charms as a little surprise.

I made this card to go with them Bo Bunny paper of course, K and Co ribbon (which is more Pink than it shows on the picture) and jewels and the flowers came from Cyprus. I printed the verse on the computer, also used my nessties, I hope she will like it.

I'm Back

I’m Back

I am finally back home and all unpack and put away, it seems like I have not been away, the month went so quickly but we had great fun and lots of laughs.


The last thing I did was go to the craft shop to buy a few extra goodies (as you do lol) and our friends took us to the airport, just got through passport control and then I realised I left all my crafting goodies in the car aggggggg I miss them and all those lovely stamps I bought, oh well at least I will have a surprise when I go back as I can not remember half the things I bought.

Well onto my card! this one I coloured in Water Pens as I had a bit of time on my hands and put it together today, which took me minutes as I had already got the parts cut out and you have to take a break when doing exams (well that’s my excuse).

I have entered into Friday Sketches, the image was waiting for me when I got home (very nice surprise) and was sent to me from Anesha from the Crafting Queen blog, her creations are beautiful, thank you Anesha. The flowers were also waiting for me and they are from my good friend Norma in England who sends me the odd parcel full of goodies now and again, thank you my good friend.
